I found the campaign mode storyline intriguing and interesting. Storyline kept my attention beginning to end. Action was intense, made gameplay fun. Another great game in the Cod series.

Call of Duty Ghosts is a fun and challenging game. With an intriguing story and an all-new extinction and squads mode, this game is an excellent play. The multiplayer may have a new create-a-soldier option, but it still feels very black and white. The graphics are nearly identical to Black Ops II, and the over all experience feels like a flashback to previous games in the series. Overall, the only thing that stands out to me is the campaign. It is suprisingly long and difficult, with no level similar to the previous. Overall, it is a great play and a winner for any Call of Duty fan.

First of all, I love playing COD games, it's almost the only game I play nowadays. That being said here's what I see as the "bad" about this game: First, the latency issues get really old in multiplayer, and whenever I'm selected as host, it's like I don't even have a chance against the opponents. I intentionally slowed my upload speed on MW3 because of this same issue, so I wouldnt get chosen as host as often. I really wish they could resolve the latency and hosting issues in one of these new game releases. I realize it will never be perfect since it's a game played over the internet, but there has to be a way to improve upon the current setup. Secondly, Call of Duy in general needs to move away from leading players through campaigns and handicapping things in multiplayer, and the use of aim assist all together, so people that are terrible can play at an "equal" level. Video games, like all other games, sports, etc, are supposed to be challenging, and half the fun of multiplayer is competition. The fun of a campaign is making it challenging, so you have to figure things out, and strategize to complete a tough mission. Lastly, the spawns can get pretty bad on this game, but that's nothing new really either. I think they try to make changes to the spawning system and sometimes it makes it even worse. Here are the things I see as good about this game: First, there's a good selection of maps for multiplayer with the initial relase, and the dynamic aspect makes them slightly more interesting than previous COD games. I always enjoyed how Treyarch included small dynamic features in their multiplayer maps, so it's nice to see from Infinity Ward this time around. I'm hopeful that the DLC content this year is great as well. Secondly, I like that they tried to add some new game modes. I think of the new modes, Search and Rescue is my favorite, as it gives you a bit more of a chance than Search and Destroy does, and introduces another strategic aspect to the game. I also like Cranked, as that keeps people moving a little bit, and doesn't allow for as much camping. Lastly, I like that they added some new killstreaks, I like the option of having the guard dog too, because it watches your back, gets martyr-dog kills, and gives you a warning growl when opponents are nearby.

So the campaign is awesome. I wont give too many details but the levels are really cool. The multi-player has had some upgrades since it first came out, before it was all over the place. If you like COD and have played the games in the past or got the most recent COD i'd skip this one - i kinda of treat COD's like my iPhones - you skip the release after your model and get the one after that...but thats just me. Servers for 360 right now are all laggy...lots of lag, even if you have a great connection i've heard of people running into these issues...picking a new host is good and SOMETIMES fixes the issues... overall good game though, its been a couple years since my last COD purchase so i was excited about this

I feel the multiplayer has been downgraded from the original CoD games. Players are sought to use more stealth such as silencers and other attachments way more than in the past. The kill streaks are not great, the lag compensation needs to be fixed big time. I would say the multiplayer is so-so. 50% you may like it, 50% not. The campaign single player is awesome though, they've done another great job on the storyline and action. They added extinction sort of like zombies but better, gets easier over time and with teammates that talk and know what they are doing, more maps are expected though. Safegaurd, like survival in MW3 but weapons and equipment are bought they are picked out of care packages and kill streak care packages are dropped to help. Infinite waves can be played though gets extremely difficult after 50 or so waves which is expected. Definetely a fun game to play and have, though the multiplayer can be much better.

Another great iteration of the COD genre. I mostly play multiplayer and the play is a lot less lag. Graphics are good and the first set of maps is pretty good, mostly larger maps, and they need to add some smaller CQB maps.

This is my first Call of Duty game. I'm not real good at these combat games and my gameplay suffers because of this. I bought this game because it resembles Crysis 3 and I enjoyed the story in that one. This game has a somewhat believable plot in that another country decides to invade The United States. I have avoided the Call of Duty and Battlefield games because of the similarity to modern day warfare. The graphics in this game are simply outstanding, even on my Xbox 360. It just might convince me to buy an Xbox One just to experience this game in all it's splendor. If you like a good plot and beautiful graphics, this game is for you.

I love this franchise, and highly recommend this game for solo and multiplayer lovers alike. As is true with any great game or story, the campaign left me wanting more.

Ghosts has a great story line and campaign. It's not too difficult but still challenges you, the graphics are a level above MW3, but on par with Black Ops 2. This game looks very different in terms of lighting and color than any other game in the series. It feels very fresh. The sound is very good as in all COD games. The downsides I've experienced are mostly with muliplayer, there's no way to reassign points, everything you need to purchase is very expensive and it's hard to get the points to purchase attachments. This can prove quite challenging when facing enemies with better perks, weapons, and attachments already unlocked. The other issue is with spawning, many times you'll get killed by the person you just killed because they spawn directly behind you. You will also frequently spawn in enemy territory without the spawn "being flipped". With an update multiplayer will be much better. However, if you want the best multiplayer experience buy COD Black Ops 2 instead.

Run and shoot is still done best by COD. fun and goofy doomsday story with tight controls.

Like most COD games, when you play online it can be a little inconsistent with the gameplay, but other than that, the maps are good, the campaign is spot on and the new squads gameplay is fun even for the casual player.

As with previous CoD games, the best part of the purchase is enjoyed online. It's not about the single-player experience for most. I'm one of the exceptions in that I enjoy playing through a good story. I'd like to see - even at the expense of a longer wait, or a slightly higher price-point - a longer singleplayer storyline in these games. I realize I'm in the minority, but it'd be nice all the same. MP is robust and balanced, and the graphics are a step beyond the previous iterations. Nothing super innovative that I've seen as yet, but I don't expect a lot of 'new' in these games...just a lot of fun. In that department it delivers.

Purchased for my son. I actually like the game but I, personally, can't handle all the joystick moves and button combinations to get thru any level. So I do the next best thing ... watch my kid play. He plays well and the game does get exciting. The only negative thing about it would be the fact that it is enjoyable for adults as they have a better ability to separate game play vs. real life. Kids on the other hand could get caught up in believing they can do what they do in the game in real life. I give a small "reality check" speech every so often to reinforce this is just a game.

The game has great graphics and story. Like how they integrated new characters, new weapons and tech. The story mode is great as usual with nice cut scenes and story line. A must have and a great addition to the call of duty franchise

Alone, this game could be great. But personally I compare it earlier titles from the game. Black ops 2 still holds my attention a little better as ghosts seems to lack the overall graphics and smooth movements I was used to playing with. Don't get me wrong, story line, maps, weapons, and other features have made this game a quality buy. But I'm a stickler for looks and this has a grainy pixelated feel to it.

This game has a lot of positives and negatives. The story is a great story. The only problem is, it is kind of a random thing. It doesn't continue from any of the other Call Of Duty games so it is a brand new story. That isn't the problem, the story itself isn't well explained in the beginning. So it is difficult to really get into it at first. Other than this, the game is a great game. It has great graphics, great weapon classes and even an extinction option like zombies from other games.

Another great game from the Modern Call of Duty Franchise, and the action is just as one would come to expect from the series! While the action can sometimes make you forget where your character is for a minute, it is nonetheless an exceptional game; a must have for any gamer!!!

I've enjoyed most titles from this series, not so much World At War or Black Ops. The controls for this can be customized and as weekend warrior I was able to make it through on normal. If you find yourself confused by the controller, go into options and select a veteran setting. Campaign start felt like a replay of a previous game but it improved as the game went on. Online has some interesting maps.

Glad i pre ordered this game so i can get used to it before the Christmas rush, overall it's a good game, campaign is A+, online has had some issues as expected with spawns, some maps are insanely huge, the new pick system takes some getting used to, the new categories for weapons are nice and the killstreaks are different and how they should be. Overall great game and will enjoy it for a while

GHOSTS is another installment in a long line of Call of Duty games that continues to deliver the familiar first person shooter experience in an all at once exciting and frustrating way. The online multi-player offers a few new modes in addition to the familiar ones, such as Free-For-All, Team Deathmatch, and the new favorite Kill Confirmed. The new challenge in this installment is actually correctly loading out your character with what seems to be a more limited set of weapons and tactical accessories. To the point, if you want the ability to shoot down helos, you'll need to use a perk - No 'lock-on' RPG/Missile launchers are available as secondary weapons. All in all, as per usual, Ghosts serves as an iterative installment, basically adding new maps for multi-player and yet another well constructed single player campaign. While Call of Duty continues to lag behind the Battlefield series with regards to scope and vehicles as well as destructible environments you can be sure that when you play the game it will operate as expected, and not require gigs and gigs of update/patches to be enjoyable.
