I was hiatus from gaming for a very long time. Last COD game I played was COD Black ops 2 on xbox360. I decided to get myself an xbox one during Black Friday last year and COD Modern Warfare was the only game I was interested in playing. It was definitely worth getting when it was on sale for $40! Still playing as of 6/18/20. Updates for this games can be ridiculously large but since I don't play other a lot of other games, i have plenty of space for it!

This game is super fun and the updates take long, but is totally worth when done.

Love playing with the family and friends.. Good story line..

Modern Warfare continues a great line in the Call of Duty series.

Maps are aweful, there is an annoying fog on every map, and the servers are complete garbage. Enjoy!

I played the other 3 Modern Warfares and they were awesome. I feel like this is right in their league

Has to be one of the worst launches in the history of COD. I have an XBOX one X and the game has shut off my xbox every single time I have played it. Supposedly they had done a fix and it still continues. Yesterday I was playing with friends and the game shut off my console again. I am done playing this game and wish I could get refunded my money I spent on this.

The fun factor is easily a 4 star rating. The campaign is awesome. Imagine yourself in an IMAX, controlling an action movie. The story, sound, and graphics are top notch. The multiplayer has some great modes, and the feel of the guns is great. The maps have variety, and in my opinion the maps are 3-4 stars in quality. The 32v32 is insanely fast and sometimes overwhelming. But I like the fact that this game has that type of speed. The fast arcade style of the game doesn't have a "realistic" Battlefield feel to me in this multiplayer mode. Co-Op mode needs to be patched, but will be another great addition. Co-Op is really difficult, and I love it! You will get rocked! This is not a 24/7 run and gun, you need tactics and good judgement to take down the A.I. The sound in multiplayer is amazing as well. You made need to adjust the sound if you mic up with friends because all the explosions and gunfire can drown out communication. I find that to be a compliment, because I've never done that with any game. I wasn't a kid when I played Modern Warfare 2 (the Modern Warfare of Warfare's). I was already a gamer who experienced more games than most, and I can say without hesitation that I'm the "Yoda" of gaming! This game is a great shooter, and still provides a different gaming experience than another great shooter Battlefield V. We should all be thankful that there are so many great shooter options, and this Modern Warfare adds some more new fun to the mix.

Yep it's that time of year again folks, we have yet another Call of Duty and this time it's Infinity Ward's turn and they decided to return to the Modern Warfare. Let's get this out of the way first I'm extremely happy they brought back the campaign as I've always had a soft spot for the big budget shooters ability to deliver high octain popcorn munching fun. The graphics this time out look spectacular. The mp modes are rich with content and fun to play as ever. The co op spec ops modes leave a lot to be desired unfortunately and is the weakest part of the overall package. While I enjoyed the game I quickly grown tired of it and haven't played it in over a month. If you're a cod fan I'm sure you will dig it but those expecting this to have the same impact the original Modern Warfare had look elsewhere this is more of the same.

Let me start with the good. The game is beautiful on 1x in 4k HDR. Multiplayer is the best looking MP from a COD I've ever seen and I've owned them all. Weapon variety and customization is very good. The challenges are fun. I can't review the campaign I haven't played it yet but I did load it and it's even prettier than MP. Now the bad for MP and my personal play style of choice. I generally play a decent mixture of run and gun fast twitch play style and stick and move, my favorite play style is kill confirmed because it's madness. It doesn't exist in this game because it cannot exist. The map designs lend to the most frustrating aspects of cod. Hide and seek and camping. Even if you're not a camper, you're forced into it. They are realistic designs which sounds good on paper but makes for boring play sitting on each side of the map hiding behind cover and taking shots across it. Try run and gun and you're toast. I win at last 65-70% of my quick draw gun battles when I'm in them but those are rare. Mostly you get killed by a claymore trying to advance to the other side of a huge map or by an entire team sitting and hiding behind objects. Camping is always an aspect of these games but it's a necessity in this one and I often find myself bored. When I play to the strengths of the maps, hide and wait its obnoxiously slow. I don't feel that rush of flying into a gun battle and somehow taking out 3 or 4 guys in seconds and escaping with my life.

Campaign is great, some of the best graphics I’ve ever seen in a game. Multiplayer plays great, but maps are weak and get old fast.

This is the first Call of Duty game I’ve purchased since the release of Black Ops 3. The graphics are great, the campaign’s story unravels very well, and the spec ops missions are a great extension to the campaign. Improved multiplayer with some new game modes, and the addition of the free warzone battle royale is a nice touch.

Call of Duty is back and as intense as ever. The multiplayer is more dynamic with maps that make you think twice about going through that door or run across that street, customization is deep, and the campaign goes into areas that havent been touched in previous CoD games. The graphics are top notch and the sound really sets the tone.

I was hesitant to buy this because I have been let down by the past releases but this one is a great game. I beat the campaign and I can’t wait to play it again on veteran. The graphics look so real. Multi player maps are all well designed and The best part of the game is Warzone. Warzone plays like fortnite with a huge map and has 150 person battle royal. Me and my friends are having so much fun with this game and we talk about it when we are not playing just like the old days of Modern Warfare. I even bought battle pass for Warzone which is $10 just to unlock more stuff but it’s optional and not needed for Multiplayer. Hope to see you guys in the Warzone.

Saw a lot of negative reviews but honestly I really enjoy the game. The campaign is amazing and it feels like you are controlling a movie. The multiplayer is great as well. Sure there are tons of campers but that's just part of it. Adapt and learn how to get rid of them. Great game

The game has a lot of action,is a lot of fun and pretty intense, but learning it Pretty good .fun to play with friends online ,but they are better than me because they got the game way before me. Other than that games great and fun to play.would recommend...

This game is good just like the original. The graphics have been updated and the story changed but overall a fun experience. Multiplayer is fantastic as well. If you like the original you will probably love this one as well.
