This camera absolutely sucks unnecessarily bulky, photo quality sucks. They said it’s a hybd camera, and has 33 megapixels, if you can’t beat 2018 model EOS r on photography in 2026, what’s the point of upgrading. I had an EOS R. I regret upgrading. I know it’s a video first camera, but why do you advertise as hybd camera when you can’t beat 2018 system? Canon is ripping people off there hard earned money. I am done with canon.

This is a video first camera with advanced features for content creators who want a compact run and gun system that can still deliver cinema-like quality. The rear touch screen is a little smaller than other similar camera systems (like Blackmagic), but the addition of an external monitor easily remedies this. New features like 7K RAW open gate recording, IBIS, and the side tripod mount for vertical shooting make this a really exciting camera for videographers. Autofocus is quick and accurate. Great camera for use with gimbals. Keep in mind, you will need to have a pricey CFexpress type B card in order to record in RAW format, which consumes a lot of data. Other record formats like 10-bit 4K HEVC or H.264 will work with standard SD cards (V90 recommended). Outstanding camera.
