Got an 8 year old boy who loves the Captain Underpants book series, so of course he is just as enthusiastic about the films as well. This film is, I suppose, a prequel of sorts to the whole Capt. Underpants franchise. It lays out the background info for most of the main characters that appear throughout both the books and the movies. There are also jokes about, uhhhhh, um things the human body does. And by that I mean there are more bodily function jokes than you can shake a stick at, there are just so many! If you get tired of hearing jokes centered around you know what, never fear because there are also jokes about other bodily functions. If you were expecting Citizen Kane, then you are a bizarre and possibly deranged individual. This is a kids' movie and as such, don't expect anything revelatory or provocative. You should expect pffft jokes...

I enjoyed this movie much more than I thought I would. It is a kids movie and I am a grown man but watching this with my kids expecting it to be another run of the mill children's movie with poor storyline and just boring as anything acting, I was pleasantly surprised. it was very funny entertaining and surprising for those of us who have never read the books. I went into this completely unaware of who or what the characters were and came out very surprised and happy that it was not what I expected. recommended for all ages.

This one came with a cape which was pretty good. The movie itself didn't hold the kids attention as much as i'd hoped (he was 3yrs old) but i did enjoy it, haha. It's a silly movie and standard for it's kind. The voice acting and CGI was pretty good and up to standard for the book that it's based on. If anyone seeing it is a fan of the book they'll probably love this movie!

I always enjoyed reading the Captain Underpants books when I was younger, so this was a great way to relive that experience. I thought the movie was quite funny and good for all ages. Nothing to take to the academy awards but a fun watch for nostalgia none the less.

My boys love this movie. I thought this movie would be completely....umm. innane? So, it is Captain Underpants, but it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I was actually entertained by it.

I had no interest in this movie until my kids watched it on a car ride. I couldn’t see the screen, but it was funny. Was even more enjoyable when I was able to actually watch it. :)

My kids love this movie. It checks every box for solid entertainment for young and old... as long as you enjoy a few (or more) toilet humor jokes!

We read all of the books with our son so he was familial with the story. The movie is a combo of a few stories but is so much fun to watch.

This was better than I had anticipated. I promised my son we could get it when it went on sale...and he held me to it. Fun characters, good animation, and worth the sale price.

I wasn't expecting much, but this was pretty funny, and the kids liked it. I think they did a good job, and hope more adventures of Captain Underpants will be coming in the future.

My daughter (7 years old) loves this silly but entertaining comedy cartoon. Even adults can get a few laughs out of it.

Bought the movie for my nephew and he loved it. And I love the fact it's also digital copy so he can watch whenever.

Brought this blu-ray movie for my son and he loves. Great video quality and comes with digital copy. What a bonus.

Kids love watching this movie, wasn't sure what it was but does have a great story line about school.

TRA-LA-LA. My son has watched this movie more times than I can count. Also has gorgeous animation.

The books are my 7 year old’s favorites & he absolutely loved the movie too. Fun for parents too.
