I picked up a couple of these and really have enjoyed the convenience of making my garage "smart". I have been able to open the door for friends and neighbors while away. It also allows you to take the remote out of your car if you are concerned with someone breaking into your car and then opening your garage. I also like the dum-dum features of setting up automatic door closing and alerts etc. Also integrates with other home automation platforms etc.

I've got an old garage door that is working fine. This has been a great fix to add smarts with control and monitoring to ut. The price was good. The installation wasn't as smooth as it could be but overall it is just fine.

We purchased this sensor to add to our second garage. They have worked great for us! Keeps me from wondering if i forgot to close the garage door! Also, the reminders/notices you can set in the software are great. You can get notified if the garage opens in the middle of the day for example. Also, you can remotely open/close for repairmen so you don't need to give your code away or set a temporary code.

I bought this when I bought the hub as I have 2 garage doors. The install instructions on the app made this install super easy. Literally took 5 minutes. One hub, 2 sensors, complete satisfaction. I have lift-master openers and it connected effortlessly. Highly recommend.

Had to buy a new one after my hub died. Older versions are not compatible with the newer version hubs.
