CocoRosie - La Maison De Mon Reve - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

American duo Coco Rosie their first album in three years, TALES OF GRASSWIDO with TALES is their fifth studio album, and marks their first self- title after having previously been on Sub Pop and Touch & Go. Since the mysterious and beautiful La Maison de Mon Reve surfaced in early 2004, Coco Rosie have spent months traveling the world with the likes of Bright Eyes, TV on the Radio, Antony And the Johnsons, Devendra Banhart, and Blonde Redhead. Along the way, Noah's Ark took shape, where heart-offerings of friends, family, loved ones and lost ones surface gracefully, contributing depth to the narrative journey. Noah's Ark is the result of a rootless reality, a drifting consciousness across state lines, date lines, time lines... connected to the past, vague about the future. But the heart of these songs is always issued from a tender present. Touch & Go. 2005. Album Tracks 1. K-Hole 2. Beautiful Boyz 3. South 2nd 4. Bear Hides and Buffalo 5. Tekno Love Song 6. The Sea Is Calm 7. Noah's Ark 8. Milk 9. Armageddon 10. Brazilian Sun 11. Bisounours 12. Honey or Tar

Their third represents another stride onward from previous works, where the girls continue to experiment with their disparate voices and clashing personalities, juxtaposing devastating ballads like InchWerewolfInch with exhilarating tracks like InchJapanInch and the jaunty single InchRainbowarriorsInch. It's a rich, orchestral array of sounds and beauty; a vaudevillian opera, if you will. Album Tracks 1. Rainbowarriors 2. Promise 3. Bloody Twins 4. Japan 5. Sunshine 6. Black Poppies 7. Werewolf 8. Animals 9. Houses 10. Raphael 11. Girl and the Geese 12. Miracle
