About this product
Limited red colored vinyl LP pressing. Featuring CRASS frontman, Steve Ignorant, 'To A Nation of Animal Lovers' was originally recorded and mixed at Southern Studios, London in April 1983. With 'To A Nation of Animals', Conflict cemented their standing at the forefront of the animal rights movement in the early eighties. It's a legendary, brutal anarcho-punk record, targeting animal abuse using intense punk and fierce lyrics to demand an end to animal testing and cruelty. A few years ago following the passing of John Loder, the original multi track tapes were returned to the band. Colin and Gav King (Conflict guitarist of the past 18 years) sent the tapes off to be 'baked' and digitised with the intent of remixing them once their new album was complete and released. Unfortunately Colin passed away before that could happen but Gav King continued with the task of remixing the tracks that were recorded 43 years earlier. Included in the box were the original mixes on ¼ inch tape so Colin's lifelong close mate, Sid Truelove of Rubella Ballet agreed to remaster them. A tape of alternative mixdowns, previously unheard, was also discovered and are now available on here too. Originally released as a 7Inch single. It's the first time these recordings have been made available as a 12Inch vinyl. Limited to 500 copies worldwide it includes an A2 poster of the original hard hitting artwork. Album Tracks 1. Berkshire Cunt 2. Meat Still Means Murder 3. Meat Still Means Murder! (Decomposing Dub) 4. S(Remixed By Sid Truelove) 5. Berkshire Cunt 6. Whichever Way You Want It 7. Meat Still Means Murder! 8. The House That Man Built was originally recorded and mixed at Southern Studios, North London in 1981 and released in 1982 on CRASS Records. Engineered by John Loder under the watchful eye of Crass' Penny Rimbaud (credited as Elvis Rimrod!) Conflict wasted no time stating their intent as the opening song, 'Conflict' charged into life with a razor wire guitar strike with Jerwood bellowing 'CONFLICT!' as the band revved into life. Primal basic and raw as F**k, these early Conflict tracks are the sound of the band getting to know their instruments, reveling in the freedom and expression of their sound. Penny and John did a fantastic job in harnessing Conflict's youthful energy and the single was an instant hit amongst the flourishing anarcho-punk movement. A few years ago following the passing of John Loder, the original multi track tapes were returned to the band. Colin and Gav King (Conflict guitarist of the past 18 years) sent the tapes off to be 'baked' and digitised with the intent of remixing them once their new album was complete and released. Unfortunately Colin passed away before that could happen but Gav King continued with the task of remixing the tracks that were recorded 45 years earlier. Included in the box were the original mixes on ¼inch tape so Colin's lifelong close friend, Sid Truelove of Rubella Ballet, agreed to remaster them. Includes original 'Disarm or Die' sticker. Album Tracks 1. Conflict 2. I've Had Enough 3. War Games 4. Blind Attack 5. Conflict 6. I've Had Enough 7. War Games 8. Blind Attack

HEALTH's latest album is a statement of urgency and clarity. Music that is heavy, unflinching, and emotionally direct. For the past two decades, the band has cultivated a unique and unparalleled sound that blurs the boundaries between industrial, rock, electronic, and metal, shaping a style that refuses easy categorization. On this new record the band push that tension further, stripping away metaphor and artifice to deliver something raw, vulnerable, and honest. Album Tracks 1. Ordinary Loss 2. Burn the Candles 3. Vibe Cop 4. Trash Decade 5. Torture II 6. Antidote 1. Darkage 2. Shred Envy 3. You Died 4. Thought Leader 5. Don't Kill Yourself 6. Wasted Years
