When troubled Private Prewitt falls for escort girl Lorene, and his sergeant embarks on a dangerous affair with an officer's wife, the lives of both men are set on a course they cannot control. As war approaches, the worlds of the four lovers and the soldiers of G Company are dramatically intertwined and ripped apart. Tim Rice's epic musical is adapted from James Jones' Pulitzer winning novel
Based on a true story of a conversation that shaped the world in 1945 between two powerful men with opposing perspectives on the future of their country. It was a dangerous time; the Partisans had won the war, and the Red Army was nearby.
