Worked very well for three years!
Loved the unit - it finally died, i think the safety switch is the problem because it was working well. Since it is out of warranty, i will take it apart to verify. The lid didn't break like the competition seems to do. Never leaked, but the plastic edge did come off after a year of heavy use.

Great addition to your kitchen
This is a handy and elegant kitchen items. It boils water as a decent pace and has a jazzy blue light while the process is in play. We use it every day and so far no complaints.
