A: I just bought this yesterday and I was in the same boat about just looking for something decent. I played Ark SA a little after setting it up and it ran well on default. Tried it on Epic and it crashed after a little bit. Used NVIDA to preset the settings and it ran just fine. Need to mess with it more to find the best settings. I am also gonna add more RAM, to see if that helps. I'm pleased with it so far.
Q: Does this come pre-built or do I have to build it?
A: Definitely pre-built. Startup from box to full function was extremely quick!
Q: if i up grade the i5 chip to an i7 which one 13700 or 13700F ?
A: Either one works as far as I know. The F after 13700 means that there is no integrated graphics. This is just as good as the other one because the pc should already have a graphics card. (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 8GB)

Q: I’m buying this as a gift. Do I need to get anything else - cords, monitor, software, etc.?
A: The only needed item to use this computer strait out of the box is a monitor. Another optional purchase would be to buy a new keyboard and mouse as the ones that come included are not top tier. One more purchase that I recommend is that you also buy speakers for the monitor because most monitors don't come with speakers.

A: Yes, WIndows 11 Home is preinstalled.
