If you played the first one chances are you'll like this. Gameplay is not as unforgiving as like Armored Core, but simular as far as battling custom mechs. But you'll do fine through the campaign without having to look up meta builds. Not gonna like there is a lot of anime style tropes in this from the characters to the story, but if you like that sort of stuff this could be seen as a bonus. Purchased this on sale for 70. And did the standard thing you do with a collectors edition, open it, look at all the stuff, put it back in the box, and never look at it again .
