Compact and elegant, the OBERON 5 houses two 5¼-inch wood fibre woofers, combined with the series’ wide-bandwidth 29mm soft dome tweeter to create a sound that is detailed, articulate and involving. With a deep bass, well-defined mid-range and strikingly clear, unforced highs, the OBERON 5 is equally at home with any music or movie soundtrack. Standing 83cm high, the OBERON 5 is nevertheless still slim enough to fit neatly into most home spaces, while delivering levels of performance that evokes the grace of the world’s finest auditoriums.
- CONTEMPORARY DESIGN: The rounded edges and rustic fabric of these new DALI front grilles add a lighter and more contemporary visual look to the OBERON series. This look is enhanced by the elegantly shaped aluminium base mounted on the two floor-standing models.
- PATENTED SMC: The iron pole piece of the OBERON woofer magnet is crowned by a patented SMC disk - minimizing the negative effects of the iron. The use of the SMC disk greatly reduces mechanical distortion, which lowers third order distortion.
- WOOD FIBRE CONE: The OBERON woofer features a wood fibre cone with a blend of fine grain paper pulp, reinforced with wood fibres, which creates a stiff, light-weight and well-behaving structure. Creating unfiltered sound with high accuracy.

Impressive Performance from a Compact Speaker!
These speakers sound fantastic. For the size, I am impressed with how well these sound for such a compact speaker. We did not want giant speakers that dominated our living room. We also did not want bookshelf speakers that required stands. The size and performance fit perfectly for our needs. This is my first experience with DALI speakers and can truly say these are excellent.

Dali Speakers
Great little speakers. I had limited space and the Dali's fit in perfectly. Because of their size, they don't have deep base, but that was expected. A subwoofer will fix that. Mids and highs are very nice.

Just needed a bit more Bass.
Bought these on Sale Reg $ 1,500 pair, Sale price $ 1000 pair. Wish they had more Bottom Base..returned them and bought B & W 600 S3.
