I was a big fan of CBS Dallas years ago - and was skeptical that this revival would be worthwhile. What a surprise. Beautifully updates and great plot lines and acting. I am not easily impressed by many of these young newcomers, but along with the old timers I have to say this is a great show.

I GOT THIS FOR MY MOTHER FOR MOTHER'S DAY AND IT MADE HER VERY HAPPY. SHE HAD MISSED A FEW OF THE EPISODES AND NOW SHE CAN WATCH THEM WHEN EVER SHE WANTS. SHE IS A BIG DALLAS FAN AND AT 83 IF SHE WANTS TO WATCH J.R. ALL DAY LONG I FEEL SHE HAS EARNED THAT.

This was a gift for my Mom. She's a huge Dallas fan and when this was on sale I started Christmas shopping way early. I'm not into this tv series but am encouraged tv series from back in the day are available on dvd.

This is the continuation of a great series from years ago. The Ewing family is brought to 2013 but some things never change. We get to see the final episodes filmed before Larry Hagman, who made the role of J.R. Ewing great, passed on to the next life.

I've love love loved Dallas since it began aprox. 30 years ago. This new Dalles series is great. It still has some of the original characters and the new younger ones playing the Ewing heirs are good. If liked the first generation series you should watch this
