This movie was a bit harder for me to find than expected, but Best Buy had it online. There was no picture available so I was a bit concerned, but it arrived and it is perfect. Exactly what I was expecting. Glad I got this one.

I have always loved this movie and was glad to find it!

This was a fun entertaining film that came out in the late '90's. I had this on DVD and was curious as to how good it would look on Blu-Ray so I decided to purchase it. I was surprised that the visual effects involving the volcanic eruptions looked as good as they do on Blu-ray for a film just over 20 years old. The DTS-HD audio also sounds great on my home theater system. The overall picture quality during the course of the movie also looks much better than the DVD. If you haven't seen the film, it's definitely worth picking up on blu-ray. I've watched this film many times and enjoy it each time I see it.

Watched this movie when it first came out. One of my Mom's and my favorites. Lots of action, drama, and thrills. I have been looking for this on dvd for a long time. So glad I got it. It is a movie that can be watched over and over and still be as intense as the first time watched.

I love everything Pierce Brosnan does. I love his acting and how he relates to the other characters in his films. In this movie I particularly like how he relates to the children and their mother in the scenes when they are trying to get out of town before the storm kills them all.

I'm typically a shoot, fight and kill somebody type of action movie person but every now and then I find something that keeps my attention without any of that. This is one of those movies. By the way the special features are 480p but they worked on the main feature and it looks good for it's age.

I first saw this movie in my freshman science class and thoroughly enjoyed it. Now as an adult, I enjoy it just as much. How can you beat people vs. volcano? Hint: you can’t!

Pierce Brosnan Need I say more? Far fetched in the way events happened but awesome to think you can drive on lava, or drive a truck while it's on fire. :-) Either way a good flick, did I mention Pierce Brosnan?

Dante's Peak was one of the better volcano movies. Bought this as a replacement of an old VHS tape. The special effects are much better on DVD.

Pretty good disaster movie. Not as good as a ROLAND EMMERICH but good.
