A: Yes, I use this computer for everything. You don't have to use it for gaming at all. The Graphics card installed will be used for more graphic intense videos or presentations if you so chose to have it work that way. I use this machine for coding, scripting, automating, gaming, movies, video editing and as my Music studio for writing and recording. It an all around great PC. If you're not using it for gaming, you can set the battery power to "Best Power Efficiency" and the battery lasts me up to around 4 to 5 hours while Coding or Watching videos.

A Gaming Laptop That Actually Makes Sense
This Dell G15 is what happens when solid engineering meets common sense. The 13th-gen Intel i7 and RTX 4060 pairing is excellent — modern games run smoothly at high to ultra settings, the 120Hz display finally feels justified, and everyday tasks are instant. Boot times are fast, apps open immediately, and multitasking feels effortless. What really won me over is that Dell didn’t treat this laptop like a sealed artifact. The 16GB of RAM is more than capable out of the box, but the fact that it’s upgradeable means this system can grow with you instead of getting replaced. Same story with storage — the 1TB SSD is fast and spacious, and there’s room to expand when your game library or projects inevitably get out of control. Future-proofing done right. Thermals are well managed for a gaming laptop, the chassis feels sturdy, and the keyboard is comfortable for long sessions whether you’re gaming, working, or doing both at the same time. Thick and powerful!
Computer is a bit bulky with a large power supply adapter to power the device. It has worked great on any game ive played. Ram can be a bit of a bottleneck for heavy memory games. The fans have good temp profiles from the box that will ramp up to reduce heat and stay within temperatures. Averaged 150 fps on marvel rivals. No issues with crashing. Screen is a bit small and unimpressive for modern standards in this price range.

Powerful little rig
First off i upgraded from a GTX 1060 TI.. so this obviously amazes me. Is it the highest end available and will it run every game at max settings while you get 144FPS? No. It will run almost all most current games at max settings. Black ops 6, cyberpunk(not full maxed out but mostly) GTA 5 runs it like a beast (maybe cause the game is like 10 years old) those are just a few i have tried since owning this laptop. With that being said by no means do i get 144FPS. For instance BO6 benchamrk at max settings averages 78FPS. My only 2 complaints (this far) is that the power brick is HUGE. Not a problem really but factor that in when selecting a laptop travel bag. Also, the rubber grippers on the bottom are not at all grippy.
