A: Mine was an 8GB model and came with a single 8GB stick and one vacant RAM slot. Attached is a photo of the stick of factory RAM.
Q: Are you able to upgrade ram, storage, etc.? What am I able to change in this laptop?
A: There is an open M.2 slot so you can add one additional NVMe drive. Out of the box, the G15 comes with one stick of 8GB 3200MHz DDR4 RAM, there are two slots for RAM. I installed a second stick of 8GB RAM for some noticeable performance increases...the motherboard supposedly supports up to 64GB of dual-channel RAM.
A: There are two M.2 slots.
Q: How do I change the keyboard color I don’t like the orange color it hurts my eyes
A: I'm not sure if there is a way to change the keyboard lighting, but there is a way to turn it off or dim the light by pressing Ctrl and F5. I have yet to tinker with that in all honesty.
Q: what is the battery rate size? and can I use a 100w USB type-c to charge it ?
A: The system comes with 3-cell (56 Wh) "smart" lithium-ion battery with 13.20 Volts. The 100 Watt USB type C cannot charge the laptop.
