"like new", but arrived with with defects. A few dead pixels is understandable, but the monitor arrived with vertical line that transverses the entire screen. I suppose the claim that "Geek Squad® Certified Refurbished products are thoroughly, painstakingly and lovingly tested, so you can be sure that your device will work right, right away." is technically true, the monitor does work. However, the line is quite annoying. On top of that, there seems to be no way to log this as 'damaged on arrival' and get a replacement. The only option would be to return it to a store, and hope that the I would be able to get the sale price on the same item.

I looked at Best Buy’s geek squad refurbished policy. It states that it might have “minor scratches or blemishes” but it will be fully functional. The screen I got had decently significant screen damage. About two inches inward from the top corner of the screen is completely dead. If I could return the product, I would have I will not be buying anything refurbished from Best Buy again.
