Customer Ratings & Reviews

I was needing to purchase a new computer for work that would be separate from my personal computer and would be HIPPA compliant. The size is small enough, yet big enough to write clinical notes. The screen is crystal clear and has the added versatility of being touch-enabled. I am very excited about the processing speed of this computer. I am able to work on documents without any lag in time. The size is perfect for my lap so I can sit comfortably without having to spread out on a desk or larger platform to hold it.

In my opinion, The Dell Inspiron 14 (AMD Ryzen 5, 8GB RAM) is a lightweight and powerful laptop ideal for students and professionals. It features a 14-inch Full HD display, a fast SSD, and smooth multitasking with Ryzen 5 and 8GB RAM. The battery lasts almost 6-8 hours, and with the ExpressCharge allows quick recharging. While it handles my office work, streaming, and light gaming well, it lacks a dedicated GPU for high-end gaming. The premium build, solid performance, and affordability make it a great value-for-money option.

[Employee of bestbuy] Big improvement over the previous year's model. I bought 2 of them to replace the two I had from the previous year. One to keep Windows on, in case I need it, and the other for doing coding projects in Linux. According to Dell, it only supports up to 16GB RAM, but that's not true. The Windows one is working amazingly with the 96GB Crucial kit. I'm waiting for my 128GB kit to arrive for the Linux one. The previous year's model had 8GB of non-upgradeable RAM onboard. 8GB is simply not enough for anything other than the very basics on a Windows computer these days, but that's all this one comes with. At least this one can be upgraded though. Having a numpad would have been a definite plus, as I use those a LOT, but I can understand not including one with a 14 inch screen. A 4k screen would have been awesome, but at least it's got the bare minimum 1920x1200. I would not own a device with a resolution lower than that. I am a little bummed that they decided to remove the right CTRL key, and replace it with a "Copilot" key. I use both CTRL keys often, and some things in Linux can't be done without a right CTRL key. Nothing your average user would ever need to do, but things I've done in the past, such as having instant access to 24 TTY's. Overall a great buy, especially when you can catch it on sale. An easy memory upgrade makes this laptop great competition for others costing twice as much.

First of all, i like the color (dark gray). Performance wise, it is very good and it's fast. The battery lasts a day before i recharge it. I am not aware of the processor but my son told me that is a good one and when i searched in google, the processor is competitive with the famous ones. I also like that it is a touchscreen one. I always this laptop at home and when I am travelling with a long wait time.

Decent laptop for a good price, good laptop and portable foldable and touchscreen also very fast performance

Great laptop, easy to use. Super fast computer, over all very convenient.

The computer is great for school, perfect size, lightweight and the speed is very fast. A great computer for a great price.

Out the box, the computer is decent enough....but like many of you, I cannot leave well enough alone. I upgraded it to 64GB DDR5 and a 4TB M.2 drive. Overkill? Yeah. I'm an IT teacher so I needed something that can hold and run multiple Virtual Machines at a time. This system has been flawless so far.

Quick, easy, and exactly what I needed. The whole process was smooth and stress-free. I really appreciated how simple everything was to understand and use. It saved me a lot of time and effort. I would definitely recommend this Dell laptop to anyone looking for something efficient, reliable, and straightforward. Great experience!

This laptop is easy to use, fast, and the perfect size.

Love this computer. I didn’t need anything fancy but this has all the bells and whistles you could need out of a laptop. Easy choice for a great price.

I like it alot and alot lighter n small for me. My old one was heavy n big. Always have battery issue. I hope the new laptop will last me long time.

Great product and fast delivery. Equipment with excellent functionality. In addition, it is a compact device.

Best ever purchased. It’s for my daughter. We are happy for it

Since the first day that I received the computer I have loved it there’s has been no issues and is a perfect everyday computer.

This laptop meets my needs. It is well designed. The touch screen works perfectly. I can add another monitor by simply connecting it to the HDMI port.

Great for school work! Some of the issues I had with this computer were : battery life, very heavy, powers off randomly. This computer lasted me 2 years in college until it randomly shut off and never turned on again but it definitely served its purpose. I feel like you could get a better option of a computer for the price. :)

Overall it is nice. Still exploring the features. Glad I made the purchase. I like the touch screen feature.

Great laptop!!!! Haven't had any problems with it!!!!!

Excellent product for what I needed. I am not a gamer, but I do love the Sims and this computer runs it just fine. Video and audio quality is great, and the touch screen features are very convenient!
