Q: How many cores(Quad core??)? Speed of each core? Is RAM expandable to 32GB? Is OS installed on SSD?
A: This model is quad-core. The core max turbo frequency is 4.00 GHz and the processor base frequency is 1.80 GHz. The answers to RAM expansion and where the OS is cannot be found.
A: I use a USB-C docking station and it works great. I have two monitors and the laptop monitor, which gives me three monitors.
A: One would think, but no. I just checked in windows explorer and everything is in the OS C drive. The D drive labeled Data, is empty. Looks like I've got some changes to make.
A: Mine came with a fingerprint reader on the power button. I didn't do anything extra to get that option.

Q: Is the Windows 10 operating system located on the 256gb SSD drive?
A: Yes. So it takes a chunk out of the drive's available memory but speeds up windows. I find it an acceptable tradeoff.

A: This PC configuration comes with Windows 10 Home version installed. You really won't need the Windows 10 Pro version, because it just has a few extra features that are designed for businesses and superusers....
