I purchased the 350 based on the sound quality I heard from the display in the store. Knowing that the display is not always the same as you'd hear at home, I still had high expectations due to the brand and the price point. after the automatic firmware update that addressed many peoples complaints about being too bassy, it's sound quality and soundstage were quite amazing playing Tidal music through their built in app via Heos. It is a great speaker and pairs easily and seemlessly with in Heos. The reason for 4 stars is due to a big bass drop at around 80%, which could be due to the type of magnets used on the speakers. However, it is a great sounding speaker and I do highly recommend it

Bought this speaker when it was somehow on a clearance sale at my local Best Buy. I was shocked at the price but even more so at the bass response of this shelf speaker. I’ve never listened to music in such high fidelity. I have this speaker in the same room as a Sonos Beam 2 and I prefer listening to music on this speaker. I’ll designate the Sonos for movies/tv (mostly because this speaker doesn’t have optical in or hdmi audio…).

Love it, the sound is great plenty of bass Hooks up easy to Bluetooth etc.

Super, beautifully crafted quality sound renditions

Unboxing & Set Up – on unboxing the Denon Home 350 the first thing I noticed was the weight of the speaker. It weighs close to 15 pounds and is substantial in size as well. It’s a very modern and minimalistic design with the cool preset quick select buttons on the top of the unit. In the box is the speaker, power cord and quick start guide. It’s pretty straight forward, download the HEOS app, plug in and power up the unit and configure the speaker. There was a software update that ran and then the 350 was ready to use. I have a Sirius XM account I used to stream with directly through the Sirius as well as through the HEOS app. All in it took about 10 minutes to unbox and setup. Performance – I don’t consider myself an audiophile, but you don’t need to be to hear the quality of this speaker. Right out of the box the depth of the music is evident, but with the HEOS app, sound setting can be adjusted depending on where the speaker is placed in the room and there’s an EQ adjustment for bass and treble settings. As the 350 packs two ¾” tweeters, two 2” midranges and two 6 ½” woofers into its frame the sound is like no other wireless/BT speaker out there! It’s currently in our living room which is 14” x 24” space with vaulted ceilings and this speaker fills the room with no problems. What’s great about this Denon system and the HEOS app is multiple Denon speakers can be run in different rooms to create whole-home music or mixing up with different music in each room…all from the app. I have my 350 paired with a Denon 150 in a small office off the living room. With this connected setup, the Denon speakers fill the entire area with music of my choice. HEOS App – I’ve used a few different apps and the HEOS app is right up there with the best available. The app provides total control and setup of the speakers and the music services of choice. The speaker can be connected directly through, say Sirius, via AirPlay 2 or BT, but it was convenient to have multiple streaming services under one app. As mentioned previously, the HEOS app also provides a number of controls to adjust the sound and functions on the speaker like the 6 preset quick select buttons and the length and brightness of the control light. Very cool and easy to use. When pairing multiple speakers, it’s as easy as dragging and dropping to create a group or ungroup. Pros: - Sound quality, sound quality, sound quality…enough said! - Ability to connect multiple Denon speakers in a room or across your home, office, etc. - Multiple programmable pre-set buttons on the speaker, no phone needed to play music - Great build quality and modern, minimalistic design including touch screen - HEOS App – provides great controls for single or multiple speakers, adjusting sound, etc. Cons: - HEOS App – (yes a pro & a con) is not super intuitive or user friendly, but seems to be getting better with each update. You need to muddle around to find what you need. All-in-all the Denon Home 350 is an amazing sounding and well-designed and built wireless speaker that should be considered for anyone looking for high-end music output and easy wireless use. You will not be disappointed with the Denon Home 350!

The Denon Home 350 is a well designed and attractive speaker with loud, rich, room filling sound. The highs and mids are loud and clear and the bass is solid and crisp with good resonance and punch with no distortion. Sound reproduction is very good and consistent from the high to low end. Vocals and instruments are clear and easily distinguishable. The 350 easily handled every genre I threw at it with every song sounding equally good whether jazz, pop, K-Pop, R&B, hip hop or rock. The companion app has an EQ for further tweaking sound levels to a more personalized sound profile if desired. The stylish design of the 350 will fit into just about any room or décor. The fabric covered sides and black glass top are appealing yet subtle enough to avoid sticking out unnecessarily. The glass top has a proximity sensor that illuminates the touch-sensitive volume and playback controls whenever a hand gets close to the glass. The hardware controls are okay for basic functions but the HEOS app and streaming apps provide much more granular control over music than the hardware controls. Other features include a Bluetooth pairing button for pairing devices without the app, like high-res players or other streaming sources. There is also an ethernet port if wired connectivity is preferred, a 3.5mm auxiliary input and a USB-A port. There is also a room grouping feature but I did not get to test the feature because I do not have another HEOS enabled device. The feature allows multiple rooms to be grouped together for controlling multiple devices from within the same app. It also allows synchronized play between two devices with no latency. I look forward to trying out the feature if I acquire another HEOS device. Once up and running, the Home 350 works like a charm; however, getting there proved a minor challenge. I downloaded and installed the Denon HEOS app as instructed. The app does not require an account for basic setup and was able to easily find and connect to the 350 from my iPhone with no additional Bluetooth or Wi-Fi configuration required. The app asked if I wanted to connect the 350 to Wi-Fi which was also easily accomplished. I was initially impressed with the ease of setup until I opened Spotify and played a song. The song played on my phone instead of the 350 and there was no option to select the 350 as the playback source from within Spotify. I referred to the quick start guide for assistance but it wasn’t any help. I then connected directly to the 350 using Airplay but the sound quality was poor with noticeable distortion and drop-outs. We then tried an Android phone and got much better results. Realizing the poor sound was likely due to my direct airplay connection, I began experimenting with my iPhone. I tried opening Spotify from within the HEOS app instead of the stand-alone app but had the same poor sound quality. When I checked my output sources again I noticed the Home 350 was now selectable as a output source in Spotify. I disconnected Airplay, connected to the 350 directly from within Spotify and finally got the proper sound. I don’t know what changed or why but I can now open Spotify directly without going through the HEOS app or Airplay, connect to the 350 and listen to music without issue. Multiple devices can connect to and control the 350 simultaneously if they are connected to the 350 in the HEOS app on the same Wi-Fi network. We all took turns playing different songs and adjusting the volume from different phones. The app also contains several other streaming music services in addition to Spotify. For some weird reason, accessing any of the other streaming apps other than Spotify requires me to create a HEOS account. This occurs even if accessing the apps outside of HEOS. When I access any other streaming services the Home 350 is not available as a streaming option. I don’t know if this is by design because we connected three phones and all could stream music to the 350 through Spotify without requiring a HEOS account. It seems odd that all other streaming services except Spotify require a HEOS account to playback through the 350. The large dimensions, hefty weight, AC power requirement and lack of carrying handles don’t make the 350 a good choice if portability is a major requirement. Sound quality is very good but it struggles with really deep sub-bass. Some of the frequencies are simply outside of the range for the 350 to reliably reproduce. Thankfully, this was only an issue with a small sample of songs and in no way unique to the 350. I’ve had the same issues on other high-end similarly designed speakers. I suggest anyone who listens to a lot of deep sub-bass take the unit for a test drive before taking the plunge but most other music will play perfectly fine including less demanding bass. Aside from the struggles with sub-bass, the odd Airplay and inconsistent HEOS account requirements were the only other cons I could find with the 350. Overall, it is a very good sounding stationary speaker and aside from the odd account requirement issues, the HEOS app is very good as well.

Streaming Music from home has definitely become a widely used feature but as it progresses, so has the speakers that we listen to them on. The Denton 350 Speaker is another step in the evolution of home music streaming and it is a fantastic step! UNBOXING & SETUP: - When you take this speaker out of the box you are instantly impressed. It has a great fabric finish while looking very high end and modern. It’s also got some solid weight to it that helps you know its not the size it is for no reason, its packed with features. - After taking out of the box, all you do it plug it in and you are ready to set-up via the HEOS app. The app takes you through step by step and it is pretty simple, the speaker just needs to be connected to the internet and you are basically good to go! - If you want additional features you will have to make a HEOS account and do some digging around the app, but really you don’t need to do much else which I like. WHAT I LOVED: - First and foremost, the sound is tremendous!! I mean this is a Hi-Resolution Audi device and it truly stands up to that. The sound is crisp and clear while also delivering exception highs and lows. It’s really impressive how the sound can feel this real! - I was able to use a Hi-Res music service on it, and it truly is incredible! It’s like watching a movie with Dolby Atmos compared to regular Surround Sound, its a noticeable improvement and people will definitely enjoy it. - The Denton 350 easily fills a large room with sound! Although its a single speaker, it does a great job throwing the sound around the room and making you feel immersed even though you are away from the speaker or its only at 30% volume capacity. - On that note, this speaker can get loud! You will be impressed with its sound quality at below 50% so anything above it can truly pack a a punch. - The touch controls on top are a really neat trick I think. It’s nice to have them not always there, but then it senses your hand there and shows the buttons there! It’s a nice way to make the speaker feel apart of the room by not always glowing. - The pre-select buttons are also a fantastic idea so you can quickly select one of the 6 buttons and easily put your favorite playlist or station on. - Lastly although this is a Hi-Res Wireless speaker, Denon still has in mind those who like hardwired or no internet connections. The back of the speaker has Bluetooth pairing, AUX Port, USB Port, and an Ethernet Port. It’s just a nice feature to have and adds increased usability for these Hi-Res speakers. MULTI ROOM: - I have more than one Denon Speaker which means you can utilize the multi room functionality of this system, and I was really impressed! It’s such a simple way to fill the house with music or fill one room with music while having multi speakers in one! - I just think this is really important to have with a Hi-Res system, because having the ability to use multi room is something that is really a treat and important for music streamers. WHAT NEEDS WORK: - At the time of writing this, Denon has not delivered their promised new 2021 app. That being said, their App needs some improvements. These wireless speakers truly depend on your ability to easily use the app and it just feels unfinished for such high quality speakers. - Another feature that is coming in 2021 but not delivered at the time of writing, is voice control! The Denon 350 has two microphones on top that should work for hands free voice commands, however it simply does not have that functionality yet. - The bright side is, my main issues with this Speaker are things that will be fixed via a Firmware and App update in 2021. So I think once that comes around I truly will have no gripes! BOTTOM LINE: - If you are an audiophile looking for exceptional music streaming abilities, look no further. The Denon 350 offers superior Hi-Res music streaming ability along with being able to use Multi Room functionality or have multi Denons in the same room. Although the app needs work, I am confident Denon will provide and I think investing in a Denon Speaker system is a wise choice and you will be very happy!

Without a doubt, the Denon 350 has astounding sound that can fill a large room or be at home in a modest area. There is a setting for placement … open area, against a wall, or in a corner … and it shapes the sound to maintain stereo separation and presence. One thing to note, to really hear what it can do, you must use a high-quality stream or source. You will hear all the nuances and dynamic range of good audio, but you will also find how poor a lot of standard streaming music is. If you feel the Home 350 lacks punch, bass, or clarity, it’s your source. If you are going to invest the money in this speaker, you need to invest in a paid version of the better steaming apps which provides low compression HI-FI sound. Period! You will find the difference amazing. The build quality is also top-notch. This a heavy speaker, and it comes well packaged. The setup process uses the HEOS app which isn’t yet the quality of the hardware. The app finds the speaker, connects it to your WIFI, and is a direct interface to a long list of streaming services. My speaker immediately needed two, back-to-back firmware updates, and you need to be patient since they take a while. The app also allows control of multiple devices and full home integration. Multiple speakers can function alone and play different sources. They can be paired to play the same source, or they can be set up as left and right channels. Having only one HEOS device, I have not been able to test these features. I found the app less than intuitive, and I suggest you go online and reference the full user guide at https://manuals.denon.com/DenonHome350/EU/EN/index.php The top of this understated but handsome unit has capacitive buttons that only light up when your hand is in close proximity. They include volume, pause/play, and six programable presets that will directly start a source playing without using the app. The HEOS system can stream without needing an external device once those are set up and logged on through the app. As a tip, go into settings on the app (Settings – My Devices – “your device name” – Touch Controls) and set the Fad Out Display up. Mine was switching off too quickly to use the buttons, and they are invisible when off. The Home 350 also can pair directly through Bluetooth. If you use your device to stream, keep in mind that it needs to have Bluetooth 5 and high-end current codecs to stream low compression music. It also has an auxiliary in and a USB port to connect directly. If your WIFI isn’t up to the streaming demands of HIFI music, there’s an ethernet port for a wired internet connection. And as you might guess, it’s can work with Siri and Alexa for voice control. Once you get things set up, you will be rewarded with world-class sound. I have other wireless speakers which I thought were pretty good, but they pale next to the Denon Home 350.

Ok, I'm a bit of an Audiophile, with about 15K of equipment in my living room, and 3 other stereo/surround systems in my back yard, Master bedroom and Master bath. Not to mention the Sonos One pair setup in my office. So to be totally unfair I thought I'd see how a pair of the Denon 350's would compare to my living room system to begin with (a 16'x30' room). To begin with I installed the HEOS software on my iPhone. The HEOS software allows multiple input sources to be sent to your HEOS compatible speakers, today this includes Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn, Amazon Music and Amazon HD Music, deezer, napster, iHeartRadio, SiriusXM, SoundCloud, Tidal, Rhapsody, iTunes, network Music servers, USB music (from HEOS Speaker), and HEOS Speaker Input's (could be turntable, CD, any external music source) and Stored Play Lists (from any of the above (to some extent)). A pretty complete list, only really missing YouTunes and Aha (IMHO). Installation of the first speaker went perfectly, installation of the second required more than one attempt so that both could be seen. I then took a 256GB USB drive that I use to back-up my music library and inserted it into one of the HEOS speakers, I went to USB music, and found nothing, waited 10m thinking maybe its reading this drive with +20K of songs on it. Still nothing, tried on the other speaker same result. Went to the Denon web site to find that the USB drive must be FAT formatted or NTFS not FAT32 or exFAT. FAT only supports up to 32GB so for large libraries it's useless. I looked at what I had lying around over 64GB, all were exFAT (11 devices). This seems to be the most common format for large USB drives (it can be used by windows, android, linux and iOS), whereas NTFS is only supported by windows. Denon's choice to require NTFS for large drives, I hope is temporary. Well I still wanted to try the USB input, as that's where I have most of my FLAC files. So I backed up my drive (+2hrs), reformatted, and re-installed on the NTFS formatted drive (+2hrs). I hope this gets seen and gets corrected. Only supporting LARGE USB drives with NTFS format is just wrong. Once I had a NTFS formatted USB drive I inserted it, and under USB Music I could now see a Denon device, which I selected, it then took some time to populate the Browse Folders, I could then see my folders, but it did not populate the Artists, Albums, Genres and Tracks selections. I could only browse by Artist, which initially is fine, why the other categories were not populated, I don't know. Will require further research, there was no information about this on Denon's web site, or via numerous google searches. Well at least I can access my library directly (which contains FLAC, 320mb MP3, and Highest quality VBR MP3). Each Denon 350 is a stereo speaker on its own or a 'pair' can be set up as a stereo pair, each driven as its own R/L speaker. To establish some expectations I listened to one Denon 350 where my center speaker is. Played Boston “Foreplay/Longtime”. Surprisingly, the speaker had some decent separation, at least on the mid/high end, it had enough power to play at a moderate listening level, not really filling my room, so I added the second speaker, putting each up on a 26" stand separated like my main speakers are, and using the HEOS software to drive the speakers as a stereo pair. Did some more listening, and I was wowed by the fullness of the sound. Bass a little thin, but stull punchy. I was just trying to match the Denon Sound level to that of my primary system. As “Foreplay” crosses over to “Longtime” there’s some beautiful soft right/left imaging, lesser speakers frequently muddle the nuances as the volume climbs, and bass builds. The Denon's held up exceptionally well, with great stereo separation and nice building bass down to about 80-100hz where the 6.5" drivers just can't move enough air. They handled the tom-tom punch nearly perfectly, but the low bass, lacked kick (which is why I have 2 subwoofers to compliment the 4 open air 12" woofers in the Carvers, which also lack a bass kick below 40-50hz). I was pleasantly surprised by what I heard. I thought I'd try something in the Denon’s sweet spot, some Pat Benatar live. “Hit me with your best shot”, rang out with a really tight, sharp sound. The vocals were very smooth, not quite as airy as my Carvers, but given size/weight difference that they give up, they held their own. As I moved from my primary listening seat to other locations in the room, it was more interesting, as each of the Denon's high end sound fields is driven both right and left, but given the 10' speaker separation, you could detect many sweet spots, an unexpectedly benefit of their design used like this. I wished I could hook my subs up to the Denons to explore how they would perform, but it can't be done with the 350's alone. I listened to Peter Gabriel’s “Back to Front Live in London” which I have on FLAC, 320 Lossless, VBR MP3 rip, and from Amazon Streaming. I compared “Shock the Monkey”, “Red Rain”, “Big Time” and “Sledgehammer”, in each of the formats. I expected FLAC to be noticeably better, which it was compared to Amazon Streaming, but compared to lossless and HQ VBR, it was very hard to tell the difference, I am sure that this has a lot to do with the high quality DAC within the Denon 350. Playing through my main system which also has a HQ DAC I had the same impression, the FLAC was slightly better than the Lossless or HQ VBR, slight soundstage improvements on the live performances. But a good DAC really helps improve performance. I then unpaired the Denon's and moved one to my backyard theater, I played Pink Floyd on the Family Room speaker from the USB stick and Supertramp Live from my iTunes library, no doubt two different sources can be used at the same time. Supertramps “Breakfast in America” sounded great outside, the single speaker did a good job of nearly filling my walled-in back yard, the Denon 350s mids and high end had nice stereo separation, and pretty good bass, the twin 6.5" woofers were a bit thin in the great outdoors, but Supertramps horns sounded most excellent. I then moved the other 350 from the family room to the backyard so I had a pair of Denons outdoors. From the HEOS app I dragged one speaker on top of the other to create a pair outside (via software). I could tell the right and left had its own stereo material as I separated the speaker by about 10'. I jumped to “Dreamer” and was more impressed than before by the sound quality and volume out to the Denon 350's. My outdoor surround system is driven by 80w/channel 5.1 amp, I have 6 wall mounted speakers + a buried sub (which I disabled). My 6 speakers retail for about the sale price of the two Denon 350's. A much fairer fight than my Family room system. And after initially hearing the Denons outside I expected it to be a pretty close A-B comparison. Now I could (easily) position the speakers equally, but I could get the physical separation about the same. The 350 pair had a tighter and more accurate mid-range, but its mid-high seemed to lack compared to those on my wall (which might have been reinforced because of them being wall mounted). My wall mounted speakers have 8" woofer and an 8" passive radiator. The lows of the Denon were much punchier, probably due to two active drivers, they did not cover the very low end, but neither did my wall mounted stereo pair. I'd call for the Denon’s being over all more pleasant to listen to. Then enabled the DSP surround on my outdoor system, and the additional center and rear made all the difference (worth the $'s); added in the sub and rich full sound, A-B back to the Denon's and the strengths of the Denons could be heard, but so could the lack of power and deep low-end. But now I'm comparing 6 speakers to 2 (or 18 active drivers to 12). Still the accuracy of the Denons, and their thump was very appealing. Back to Stereo, I did a A-B of Pink Floyds “Great Gig in the Sky”, a song I think I know all the substiles of. The women's voices from the Denon's had a great piercing effect, literally bouncing off my (16' walls), until the bass builds I preferred the Denons, once it did I missed a bit in the low end, but they were still accurate in filling such a large open area. As “Money” cut in my neighbor poked her head over the wall, (ut oh), to complement me on the music but she wondered why it was starting and stopping. I explained I was listening to 2 sets of speakers, she said she could not tell the difference, both seemed loud enough to her (all she gets is reflected sound). I decided I was happy with what I'd heard, and let the album play out on the Denons. I did compare iTunes over Airplay to the USB stick, and could not discern any difference. I did a brief A-B comparison to my Sonos One system, the Denon's were a clear winner, with a much more solid low end (in a 12x15 room), and they were over kill, something I never thought of the Sonus pair. In the end I was very impressed by the Denon 350's, I threw a lot at them and they surprised and impressed in many areas, they held their own. Many of my complaints have to do with the HEOS software which can be improved. They have an EQ, which only has high and mid, a 5 or 10 band EQ would be a big improvement. Support for exFAT USB drives, in my mind is a huge oversight. Possibly allowing AirTunes speakers to be included in the set ups would be nice (Sonus does). I'd also like to see support for google casting. The buttons on the top of the speakers as shortcuts are great for streaming stations. This was a nicer feature than I thought it would be. I'd kind of like them to be somewhat waterproof (splash proof), so I'd feel safer with them around a pool. But color me impressed, these are probably the best standalone wireless speaker available today, and Denon can improve them via software.

Smart speakers are a big deal nowadays, not only do you want something that delivers big sound, but you want it to be compatible with your smart voice enabled environment. One great thing right away was the bag and handles to lift it out along with the premium packaging. Great stuff! The Denon Home 350 is one of the highest end units you can buy in the smart speaker market and it does NOT disappoint. Not only is it large, heavy, and full of promise, the top stickers give you an idea of the multiple compatibility options supported including BT, favorite stations, and sources at up to 6 presets that are programmable. As I mentioned I was extremely impressed with how fast and easy it was to pair and activate this speaker. I just downloaded the HEOS software, hit discover, allowed bluetooth and within a minute the device was paired and online. There were 2 additional downloads and updates that needed to finish but they gave the option to complete later. Overall I was extremely impressed with the sound of the 350. It is a huge speaker so it gives you great 2.1 stereo and sub sound so it is well suited for a larger room. The HEOS software does a great job of allowing you to group multiple speakers together to give you multiple room coverage. The HEOS app also supports an extremely high number of music services, however, if you want to cast to speakers of multiple different makes or Apple Music, you can use Airplay 2 and cast to multiple speakers from different vendors which is amazing. Overall these are great speakers, the only downside I found was they do not have actual sound adjustment capabilities that I have seen, but the native HEOS app integration as well as the Alexa app integration are great. They don't support cross-vendor multi speaker support across different rooms but we will see if that resolves itself over time. The number of music services it supports is impressive but again, no Apple Music native support. Can be worked around via AirPlay 2. Overall great looking and sounding speakers!!!

This denon home 350 is a beast of a speaker. Literally from its sheer size to the sound output. This amazing speaker has a perfect balance of highs, mids, and lows. You can hear the guitar strings as if they are close by. Vocals are rich and clean to my ears and the bass is thunderous. And I’m not exaggerating, this thing will shake your house. But not in an overbearing way. It’s bass response is top notch. I turn the bass down. I highly recommend using your favorite HIFI Streaming service. I personally use Tidal hifi. I love it. You want the best sound source to get every bit of sound quality out of this speaker and at its price. Please note: in the HEOS app there is an EQ and also there is an option to change the sound of the speaker from normal to high. Now for the denon heos app. It’s great. One of the better dedicated music apps. Very clean and super easy to use. Set up is simple and pretty self explanatory. Choose your favorite music app, link and pair speaker. Then update and you are good to go. I have 2 of the denon home speaker line. Which I use to stream multi-room music or play one song in my living room(where this speaker is) and another song in my bedroom if my wife wants to listen to her music. You simply drag and drop one speaker into the other and your good. Airplay2 works well on this speaker. And I don’t personally use BT myself. But the functionality is there. Touch controls are very nice. The proximity sensor is obviously great. Responsive and very high end looking and feeling. You can save presets. But for me I am a simple man. The app and airplay are good enough for me. These speakers are great. Very stylish and well built with some heft to them. It just makes them feel more premium. At this price you expect this type of quality and attention to detail and sound. Denon hit a home run with this one here. I love it. I just sit in the dark and listen to my favorite music. That’s my stress release. I recommend this speaker if you are somewhat of an audiophile like I am. 100%!

Big sound from a small package! Bass is outstanding, highs brilliant, and the mids are velvety smooth! I have a nine speaker home theater and this little guy sounds spectacular when compared with it. I played the same music in two separate rooms using HEOS and it sounded identical. The home theater is Marantz with Phase Technology speakers and SVS sub, so not a home theater in a box. Took it out on the deck and it filled the back yard with reference quality sound at 1/3 power, truly impressive. I had a small JBL Bluetooth speaker that has very limited bass and there is no comparison, the JBL just got handed down! I use an iPhone or iPad to send it music through Bluetooth and it pairs immediately. It was a breeze to set up, I’ve never had to touch the controls on top, which light up when you pass your hand over it, really cool! Some might consider it a drawback that you have to plug it in but I don’t have to worry about the battery going dead. And this will never see the beach, it’s too beautiful to subject to sand! This is without question the best wireless speaker I’ve ever listened to and my favorite tech device in our home. Best Buy had a very good sale price and it was ready for pickup in two days. Considering the price, I really thought I would be returning it but the sound blew me away! Most Bluetooth speakers are like listening to am radio, no clarity, and certainly no bass. This has a fullness that fills the room with rich, deep sound. I would not give it back if they gave me the full retail price! I haven’t heard the smaller models but if they are half as good don’t hesitate to make a purchase.

The thing was awesome, shook whatever room it was in, unfortunately the ex took it along with everything else. But you'll love, not just loud absolutely brilliant sound and integration, beautiful speaker!

The sound quality is awesome. Setup was a breeze. I love HEOS. I now have whole house audio. I have a Marantz surround receiver with HEOS in our family room. Now I have multi channel music in family room, zone 2 out side and Denon Home 350 in the bedroom. All playing the same Amazon HD music via HEOS. Could play different music as was well. Airplay2 works well too. My wife likes waves and rain sound at bedtime. She would play from a Apple app on her phone. Now she plays on the Home 350 with airplay from her phone. The sound is much better. I also have Home 150 in the garage. This is the most affordable high end whole house audio system if your a AV receiver type person. You don’t have to buy additional equipment (that costs about the same price as AV HEOS receiver) to hookup steaming services to your main listening room like other home audio system.

Shocking amount of bass for the size. Great sound. Good articulation in the woofers and decent sound stage with superb separation in the instruments. Only downside is the price, but nothing I’ve tried really challenges this for music.

I've got a few other HEOS devices (550 + Sub, Marantz NR1200 in basement), but wanted to add a device to the dining room. I had a Klipsch The Three in the space and actually prefer the sound of the Klipsch. The Denon HEOS Home 350 is a bit more clinical sounding, less exciting. That said, connectivity within my existing HEOS setup is easy and works flawlessly, as does AirPlay.

The product has a quality feel and look to it. Even upon opening the box the plastic covering has handles to pull the speakers from the box. A real nice touch. Wish more manufacturers had this when opening the box. Easy setup but at first it did not connect to the network. Instead of fighting it I tried WPS to connect and it immediately worked. Stereo pairing the two speakers was easy. I wish the app had a feature to send a sound to confirm which is the right and left speaker. I did figure it out. Funny there are specs for the wifi network and frequencies used in the different file formats. I could not find in the specs the megahertz range of the speakers. There is a quick select set of buttons for input settings. I may use it but wish I could use it to access the different music sources like TuneIn. There is something briefly mentioned about music sources. I maybe confused about it. The app is surprisingly good considering the poor ratings usually found for it. I wish the album sort was based on how the folders are built on my phone. The artist sort is closer but prefer the album sort. Not all of the album art is displayed which is annoying. The speakers sound is excellent. It could use a subwoofer. I am thinking of eventually purchasing a soundbar along with the subwoofer one of these days. They need to add eARC and Dolby Atmos before I am a soundbar customer. There is no distortion although I can't say I cranked it up too high. The connection to the phone is through wifi. If I move 20 feet away it might stop playing. I plan to try the memory stick. Overall an excellent choice. I believe this speaker easily equals and possibly beats the other wireless speakers in this price range. There are questions regarding the difference between this and the other Heos speakers. I figured I am paying to be up to date with support. Who knows when previous Heos model firmware support ends.

This speaker works perfectly. I have purchased three of these in the last six months. And they really sound great every where i am using them.
