DeWolff - Orchards / Lupine - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Mascot Records is proud to announce the of the new album from Dutch rockers, DeWolff, entitled 'Love, Death & In Between', available everywhere February 3rd, 2022. DeWolff are not a band to sit still. They thrive on constant motion. From psychedelic southern rock warriors to emissaries of soul, they weave in amongst the rich tapestry of sound and often find their way to the heart-beat of a song by spending a little time with it. Formed in the Netherlands' Deep South of Geleen as teenag-ers before moving to the medieval city of Utrecht, they have carved out a place for themselves as free-wheeling adventurers. Prolific in the studio and well-worn road-rovers, they've grabbed the last few years by the scruff of the neck and not rested. 'Love, Death & In Between' is a reaction to their previous two studio albums. 'Tascam Tapes', which was rec-orded on the road with a four-track cassette recorder from the 1980s, and the socially distanced recording of Wolffpack. Recording live to tape, with no overdubs, brothers Pablo (guitar/vocals) and Luka van de Poel (drums/vocals) alongside Robin Piso (Hammond/Wurlitzer) were joined by a host of friends for the record-ings. InchWe brought extra people and wanted their signature on it. Playing with ten people in one room is chaot-ic. Every take you do, somebody is not satisfied with how they play. But you realise what is important about a take.Inch Out of the rural surroundings of Brittany, DeWolff left with twelve songs, over four tapes, with friends, having fun and remembering what is most important to them. On a diet of Al Green, Sam Cooke, and John Steinbeck, they've created some of their most soulful but rousing music. Album Tracks 1. Night Train 2. Heart Stopping Kinda Show 3. Wil O' the Wisp 4. Jacky Go to Sleep 5. Rosita 6. Mr. Garbage Man 7. Counterfeit Love 8. Message for My Baby 9. Glided (Ruin of Lov

In 2020 founding member/guitarist Nick Layton and bassist Bobby Ferkovich (Pamela Moore Band, Metal Church, Heir Apparent, Presto Ballet) sought to put a new powerful version of FireWölfe together after singer David Fefolt left the band. By recruiting Seattle based guitar shredder Michael David (TKO), virtuoso drummer Marco Bicca (Pamela Moore Band, The Element, A Dying Planet) and Las Vegas based vocalist Freddy Krumins (James Byrd's Atlantis Rising), the band was finally set. InchConquer All FearInch is a powerful, mighty heavy metal album with a high melodic density. Produced and mastered by Bart Gabriel (Crystal Viper, Jack Starr, Hexx among others) and mixed by Cederick Forsberg (Crystal Viper, Marta Gabriel, Rocka Rollas, Blazon Stone among others), the album comes across as a tour de force of US Metal. Heavy riffs, melodic choruses, a thundering rhythm unit, excellent double guitar attacks and finely structured solos characterize the tracks. With Freddy Krumins' voice, the new tracks seem elegantly rougher and take the new material to a new level. The core piece of the album is the InchThe Evil Eye TrilogyInch. Versatility and heaviness go hand in hand. An album that blasts out of the speakers straight into your brain! Cover artwork by Dusan Markovic (Dragony, Symphonity, Jag Panzer, Death Dealer) Album Tracks 1. Air Attack 2. Unholy 3. Firewölfe 4. Armed Forces 5. Back from Hell 6. Wicked Words 7. Ice Wizard 8.
