About this product
Mascot Records is proud to announce the of the new album from Dutch rockers, DeWolff, entitled 'Love, Death & In Between', available everywhere February 3rd, 2022. DeWolff are not a band to sit still. They thrive on constant motion. From psychedelic southern rock warriors to emissaries of soul, they weave in amongst the rich tapestry of sound and often find their way to the heart-beat of a song by spending a little time with it. Formed in the Netherlands' Deep South of Geleen as teenag-ers before moving to the medieval city of Utrecht, they have carved out a place for themselves as free-wheeling adventurers. Prolific in the studio and well-worn road-rovers, they've grabbed the last few years by the scruff of the neck and not rested. 'Love, Death & In Between' is a reaction to their previous two studio albums. 'Tascam Tapes', which was rec-orded on the road with a four-track cassette recorder from the 1980s, and the socially distanced recording of Wolffpack. Recording live to tape, with no overdubs, brothers Pablo (guitar/vocals) and Luka van de Poel (drums/vocals) alongside Robin Piso (Hammond/Wurlitzer) were joined by a host of friends for the record-ings. InchWe brought extra people and wanted their signature on it. Playing with ten people in one room is chaot-ic. Every take you do, somebody is not satisfied with how they play. But you realise what is important about a take.Inch Out of the rural surroundings of Brittany, DeWolff left with twelve songs, over four tapes, with friends, having fun and remembering what is most important to them. On a diet of Al Green, Sam Cooke, and John Steinbeck, they've created some of their most soulful but rousing music. Album Tracks 1. Night Train 2. Heart Stopping Kinda Show 3. Wil O' the Wisp 4. Jacky Go to Sleep 5. Rosita 6. Mr. Garbage Man 7. Counterfeit Love 8. Message for My Baby 9. Glided (Ruin of Lov

Adopting a collaborative approach for the recording of their third album, Death Bells have returned Between Here & Everywhere, an effort that captures the cross-section of Southern California's shadowy hidden interzones, outside of the lights and luxury. The record features nine new songs that represent Will Canning and Remy Veselis' continual growth, as well as accompaniment by an experienced cast of contributors on keys, strings, piano, and operatic backup vocals. Recorded with Colin Knight at Paradise Studios, and mixed by Mike Kriebel at Golden Beat, Between Here & Everywhere bristles with immediacy and emotion, with every element tactile, balanced, and elevated.Between Here & Everywhere sets out to map the potent mess of Los Angeles. Canning cites the InchvastnessInch of the band's adopted home as a constant muse, and much like the city itself, the album ebbs gradually from harrowing to hopeful over it's 35-minute runtime. The lyrics are categorized as Inchnarrative, but not autobiographical,Inch born of intrigue, intimacy, and a sense of Inchlooking outward.Inch From the highly-strung blast of InchHysteriaInch, to the hypnotic rhythms of InchLifespringInch, and the staunchly resonant hope displayed in InchLast DaysInch, InchSpace Without A NameInch and InchEternity StreetInch, Between Here & Everywhere encompasses Death Bells' most captivating work to date. Album Tracks 1. Passerby 2. Hysteria 3. Lifespring 4. Intruder 5. A Better Resolution 6. Last Days 7. Space Without a Name 8. Eternity Street 9. Here & Everywhere
