The game is very with the combination of melee combat and parkour. With the added story you will certainly have fun. If you are a fan of the first game this game is a definite must buy.

Parkour zombie killing returns in this fast paced sequel. No guns this time, except for the single shot boom cannon. Still a fun ride with some more dlc coming.

Fun sequel to Techland's hit. Really enjoy the new parkour elements, and the graphics on the PS5 version are awesome. Fun coop experience! I expect the devs to support this with new content for years to come. I recommend it.

Just started playing Dying Light 2 Stay Human. The Grpahics are awesome even on an older HD TV. I have not played it yet on 4K set up. Game play offers a lot of variety. Zombies are fun to smash, and they are overwhelming at night. Must make every attempt to get to a safe zone before night fall. Purchased the game at Best Buy! My favorite store to purchase my games and electronics!

I played the first DL1, and just got this one today. Played it for roughly an hour or so, did looting as much as i could (even mid-mission). So far it's a rrally fun game! Really enjoying it, feels a lot better than DL1. HOWEVER, it being on thf "next" gen console as well. I expected it to have much better graphics! But will continue to play and see how the game ends up being after 10+ hours.

Never having played the first Dying Light I wasnt sure if I should get this. I am so glad I did! The story is good and it does a great job at easing you in to the many facets of the game. I am about 40 hours in and I dont want to play any other gane right now. The graphics are top notch, the day/night scenarios work well, and the amount of activities apart from the main story will keep you busy, if you choose. I wasn't sure of hiw well the parkour element of the game would be ut they totally nailed it. It is very satisfying when you run a smooth line across the city. When you die, you usually respawn in a place close, if not right at the current objective. Only bad thing right now is my lack of sleep. Developer confirmed 5 years of support. Dont wait for a sale, get this game now if you enjoy open world zombie apocalyptic games. Best in its class!!!!

When I first played dying light 1, I actually quit soon after playing. My nephew showed me why I was having issues. Finished the first game and it became one of my favorite games. Once part 2 came out, I had to buy it immediately. I, personally, enjoyed part 2 more than part 1. It’sa great open world game with many things to do. You can play this game for weeks and barely get through campaign if you wanted. Plus it has a great storyline If you like open world and the dying light series, you will love this game. My only issue was the numerous amounts of bugs this game had. There were some missions I completed but the game didn’t register that I just did it for some reason. However I’ve played it since then and feel like they fixed those issues.

Don't listen to the negative reviews. Dying Light 2 is a fresh take on the popular game. The parkour mechanics are fluid and fun. The zombies are a threat. The story is engaging. I'm loving it so far.

This game has been improved drastically from its predecessor but also has been downgraded too. Night time isn’t as scary as the first game, and making a loud noise doesn’t have much consequence. The spike kills and trap kills are disappointing, but the devs have said they are working on that so hopefully that’s true. The combat and mobility and parkour is fantastic and the parkour music is something to die for, it’s fantastic. Once you do parkour and the music kicks in you’ll see what I mean. It’s not prefect but I can tell the devs didn’t wanna do the same thing like assassins creed dose so that’s commendable. (FYI the game is a bit buggy but from my experience not to the point where it’s game breaking) Snag this game, the devs are planing to put in 5+ years of support for this game so there’s gonna be stuff to look forward to, I recommend it’s a fun game.

I don’t want to be too critical of this game. I ended up liking it a lot. At first though, it was a bit slow. You didn’t get to the city for a while. It seemed like there were a lot of fetch quests- and I mean A LOT! But the story got better as the game went on. You also got more interesting items like the paraglider and the grappling hook. I ended up going with mainly the peacekeepers. You had to climb A LOT of buildings going with them! I don’t know if it was the same with the other choices. The combat was OK, and the enemies weren’t too bad- except the last boss. I had a pretty good ending on my run through. I spent nearly 32 hours with the game without doing any side quests. Overall, I recommend the game and I can see myself playing it again maybe in another year or so. I’d give it an 9/10 or 4/5.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ As a proud grandmother and an avid gamer, I couldn’t resist diving into Dying Light 2, and I must say, the gameplay truly kept me on the edge of my seat! The parkour mechanics and intense combat scenarios brought back memories of my youth, when I used to climb trees and play games outside. The detailed world and intricate missions kept me engaged for hours on end. However, I couldn’t help but feel a bit disheartened by what seemed to be a heavy-handed political agenda woven into the storyline. Games should be an escape from the real world, a chance to explore fantastical realms and experience adventures beyond our everyday lives. While I appreciate thought-provoking narratives, it’s disappointing to see a game I enjoy using its platform to push a particular political viewpoint. I long for the days when games were simply about having fun and losing oneself in imaginative worlds. Dying Light 2 certainly delivers on the entertainment front, but I can’t help but wish it had left the political messaging out of the equation. Despite my reservations, I still find myself drawn to the game for its thrilling escapades, and I hope future titles can strike a better balance between gameplay and messaging.

Haven't stopped playing this. I could go hours playing this game and not get bored. First off the mechanics for parkour and fighting feel really fluid and fun. Doesn't make swinging a weapon most of the game repetitive. The story is far from lackluster and the basis for choosing your own decisions for the story make it feel tailored and unique. Cant wait for the DLC expansions

Well, this game is fun. Great, in fact. I had fun from beginning to end. The atmosphere is great. The subtle music is nice. The moves are fun. And then there is the glitches. Oh boy, is there glitches. I played the entire campaign co-op with my friend. At random times his body would disappear, and he would just be a floating jacket. Or the only thing I could see of him would be his belt, spinning around rapidly like the tasmanian devil. Other times, he would hear my character grunt and groan as if he was constantly getting hit, but I was just standing there. At one point, it randomly teleported us to the second city for no reason at all, and gave us a couple maxed out weapons and grenades, which made the monsters trivial, but we were trapped in the second city with no way to continue the story. Oh, and my paraglider was glitched, so I could never upgrade it. All in all, was a fun experience, but felt completely rushed. Felt like Cyberpunk all over again. Definitely needed more time in the development oven.
