Q: Hello, my question is regarding delivery and installation scheduled for tomorrow of a Samsung flex duo electric range. Does the outlet have to be ready for installation or will this be installed at the time of delivery along with the cord ?

A: If it’s a 220 watt stove top. It can’t plug into the wall at the 110W electrical outlet, it has to be hardwired. And you might have to pay an electrician to run it from your breaker box to the kitchen. Which can cost around 800-1125 depending who you use. Then the installer can connect the stove at the junction box where the electrician ran 220 watt line.

Q: I am replacing a gas Whirlpool range that is two years old with electric range. What does it cost to install as delivery is 2/9? Do you have program that sells used appliances?

A: I think it was like 180.00 for the install cause it has to be hard wired. And your probably going to have to pay an electrician to run 220W line into the kitchen. Gas ranges are only 110 w and plugged into a wall outlet. After the electrician work and the stove plus installer fees and warranty depending On the model of the electric glass top you are going to be at least 2,500.00

Q: If we are switching from a gas range to an electric one, do you cap the gas valve or would we need to hire a gas plumber to do so?

A: No! We left options open to use unless needed

Q: I need a power cord installed on my ge electric stove. Do you have that service. I bought it from Best Buy

A: You can buy the cord from Best Buy and arrange for Geek Squad to install it for you at the time you buy the range or after the fact. Geek Squad did a great job of installing the cord, leveling the range, and attaching the anti-tip plate to the floor for our new range.
