This product does not give protection for the lens. The camera lens itself is not covered. The sides of the camera lens is covered, yes, but the lens itself is exposed. There is no "shield" or protection. The description and pictures shown in the link is not accurate and is confusing. I would not recommend this product. I was using a different lens protector for 2 years and I thought about updating. I just bought this new one some weeks ago, and this is how my camera lens got into, in less than a month. It got scratches and lens was really exposed. No covering at all. I really regret changing to this one. I usually do not write a review to items I buy, but this time, I wanted to inform buyers and share how the outcome was.
