This was my first game purchase for PlayStation VR when I got it, & I've been amazed at how awesome the graphics are & the game play rocks. If you've ever played the Eve online game, then you have to get this one!

Good experience to get into vr space combat. It's based on multiplayer along with AI so no campaign. With games played, you are able to purchase ability enhancement and a good variety of ship skins. Weapons are limited to guns and tracking missiles. Graphics is par but gameplay was smooth. I did not experience motion sickness as I did when trying out the demo during vr tryouts, but you are scanning a lot in the cockpit. Replay value is good.. This won't be one of the vr games you're finished with in 40 minutes.

I wanted a game that would let me get used to PS4 VR, and Eve filled the bill! Shoot-em-up first person, multiplayer or single, and the graphics are wonderful. I find myself reaching for controls I am "seeing" instead of using the controller. Fast paced, you can't stop and think about your moves, practice in the single player/training mode until your reactions are by instinct before tackling multi-player, but I've enjoyed the game.

At a full $60 Eve is one of the most expensive VR titles available. The lack of a single player campaign mean it's a primarily online flight sim that has fantastic immersion and visuals. It's one of the best looking of the launch VR games and controls more like a simulation then an arcade game. It's held back by constant microtransaction currency pack encouragement of a free to play model. It has a high learning curve and you are put right into skill based online matches. I found I didn't have the time to grind or money to invest in microtransactions to level my character and ship up enough to find the game playable. I always felt underpowered and outgunned. If you have the disposable income the gameplay is fun, but it's held back by its price point, lack of single player, and pay to win business model. I indicated I'd recommend it to a friend, but only if they knew what they were getting into and were willing to pay a premium price for it.

This game really puts you in the cockpit and the lets you experience a very cool VR environment. I don't usually get motion sickness anywhere else but there was some queasiness I experienced while getting used to the feel.

The Good: Stunning visuals for a 1st Gen VR game. Actually makes you feel like you're in the cockpit flying these impressive machines. No motion sickness experienced so far. The Bad: Missions can get a bit repetitive. Story is lacking at times. Overall: A solid VR experience worth the purchase, despite some minor flaws.

Fantastic visuals, was developed specifically for VR. Fast paced space fighter, probably one of the best VR games released. A demo is available for testing prior to making the purchase. Only complaint is the price, should be slightly lower.

Eve Valkyrie gives us an awesome glimpse at what is coming with VR. The dog-fighting is challenging and, it has ruined all non-VR flight games for me. Flat screen flight just doesn't touch being 'in' the cockpit. My only complaint is Eve could use a bit more content. Here's hoping to some updates/DLC.

This is a geat game, you really feel like you're in the cosmos fighting for your life, attacking star cruisers, this is a must buy for the PSVR.

So this is what it feels like to fly a ship in space and gun down enemies in a dogfight! Too much fun and feels really cool to fly by the huge stationary ships while shooting and being shot at. In VR, you can fly in one direction and turn your head and look in other directions for enemies just like, I would only presume, in real life spaceship navigation. If you like flight simulators and dogfights and VR, buy this game.

I purchased this after a small wait, only because I was unsure about paying full price for a game I wasn't decided on. Got it on sale, and I'm glad I did. Excellent gameplay, stunning visuals, and a steep learning curve makes for a wonderful game. One of the better VR experiences you find, so far, on the PSVR. Easy to jump into, but it will take some -]time and effort to get good at the game. Patience will pay off in the long run.

The single player campaign is rather weak, (which is why I removed 1 star) and I was considering returning the game but once I got into the multiplayer, WOW! I am not sure I want to play any flyer any other way than VR like this. Just know some of the pilots in multiplayer are ridiculously good, but I still have a good time being an average pilot in the mix. Great game and worth buying especially if it goes on sale.

Although I'm prone to motion sickness with some of these types of games, it didn't stop me from powering through an hour long session. Yes, I got a little sick, there's a lot to keep track of, but the experience was totally worth it. I've read that others who experience motion sickness actually fare pretty well with this game, maybe I just need more time to adjust. That said, the game is still pretty exciting to play, feels very immersive and something I'll come back to after my VR hangover wears off.

EVE Valkyrie is a PSVR space combat simulator. The game has a heavy focus on multiplayer, as evidenced by the slow pace of the game and presence of microtransactions. Graphically the game is very pretty, but I didn't get a chance to play very long since it made me nauseous after a half hour of game time.

The incredible sense of scale and the feeling of truly sitting in the cockpit of a fighter jet makes this experience truly unique and in my opinion one of the better PSVR titles. I wish it had a true single player campaign rather than relying solely on online multiplayer matches, and having full 360 control of movement can be nauseating at times, but overall I really enjoyed this game!

If you have a Playstation VR, this is a must. Incredible graphics, without doubt this is the most polished VR game out. This game is already for the Oculus Rift and VIVE, so the result is a finished and unique experience. The game will transport you to the cockpit of a spaceship fighter you have 3 main different types of ships to choose from. I really enjoy playing the game the first 3 sessions I felt some sickness but after that I think I can pilot a F-22 today!

I really didn't know what to expect going in to this but it's a necessity if you own a VR headset, especially with the newest update.

Space Combat FPS games are a rarity. Mostly, FPS games focus on the player being a highly skilled and dangerous soldier, fighting in a battlefield where they are the only hope of whatever side they are fighting on. They're usually a solitary soldier, the last of their kind or the only one left to fight. Ground combat all around, like Halo, Doom, Call Of Duty or Battlefield (to name the popular few). With EVE Valkyrie, the FPS action focuses on the player becoming a skilled pilot within a squadron of other pilots. If you've played games like Wing Commander, Ace Combat and more recently, Star Wars Squadrons and enjoyed them, you'll feel right at home with EVE Valkyrie. What makes this game really special is the fact that it is exclusively in VR, which, in and of itself, is a rarity nowadays, as VR games in general, especially for the PSVR, are starting to decline in releases due to the PS5 now being available. Get this hidden gem of a space combat game while it's still available, especially at a great price. Because once they're sold out, they're sold out for good and Sony won't be making any more physical copies.
