No more movies at best buy...those steelbook exclusives were cool while they lasted. Not as good as the 2013 remake, but def a worthy addition to the franchise

Very good movie, I'm glad they released it in 4K format, since the horror scenes can be seen better and the sound is excellent.

It was a fairly cool film, as kooky as it should be for a different take.. but i can’t understand why want a steelbook edition made?

Genuinely scary, disturbing and highly enjoyable throughout. Great performances and plenty of shockingly gory moments for fans of this legendary franchise.

The blu-ray is gorgeous, and the 4k elevates the lovely darkness of this film. The lack of features is disappointing, but I almost expected it? My five stars is for the film. I've always been an Evil Dead fan, but didn't think the series could work without Ash in charge. The remake of Evil Dead didn't completely wow me, maybe because of zero (ish) Ash, but that's a complicated relationship. This film made me believe in a world without Ash. Anyway, no spoilers, WATCHY WATCHY.

Only it could be better is if Ash came to the party.

Another excellent entry into to Evil Dead franchise. This movie hits the gas and does not let up! They did a great job of keeping the hardcore horror of the series and also keeping some of its humor - more like Evil Dead 2 than how Evil Dead 2013 was very very serious. If you're a fan of the series or just horror in general grab this one up for your home collection, It is also very stand alone and you no not need to have seen any others to watch this (though, of course, it helps)

Good movie. The first evil dead movie scared the crap out of me but this one is good. A must have for evil dead fans.

This is the best horror movie in the last 2 decades. It has an 80 vibe to it, its gory, its brutal and once the ride starts it doesnt quit until the last scene. I was happy to pick up this 4k uhd blu ray for only 9 bucks on black friday. Best buy wont have anything to sell me after they stop carrying physical movies in april of 2024. They should definitely reconsider that decision.

As a huge fan of the Evil Dead universe this was one of the most gruesome one of them all. The main protagonist was absolutely fantastic and was a jaw dropper. If you are looking for creepy, scary, and a bloody mess this is a must watch. If you've never watched an Evil Dead movie then dont worry you'll be filled in fast!

While Bruce Campbell will always be the king of the Evil Dead franchise it has been nice to see the series go in some different directions. The 2013 sorta remake/sequel was proof that there was still gas in the tank. Evil Dead Rise proves that all you need is the mythology of Evil Dead to build a fun story around. Throw in some horrific gore along with interesting characters and you get a good time.

Incredible next entry in the Evil Dead series. Manages to reframe the story in a new environment with a new cast but still keep the beats of the original. The pace is non stop and it features some of the best practical effects of the year. The 4k transfer is flawless and audio sounded fantastic in 7.1.2.

While for me, this will become a yearly Halloween watch, for others this movie may be too derivative of the other Evil Deads. If you have seen one, especially the 2013 one, then you know what to expect. With that said, this movie has some good visuals and some amazing sound design. If you are an Evil Dead die hard then you probably will give this one a go anyway.

One of the few franchises to have banger after banger, I'm so glad to see Evil Dead Rise not only have a successful theater run, but also get a 4k release. The movie looks great, the packaging is wonderful, the only thing that could have nafr it better is if it was a Steelbook.

Not your Evil Dead, you thought in the 1983 and 1989. It a whole new game! Sorry, Best Buy doesn't sell movies in their stores anymore. Try your luck in finding this movie online!
