Avatar is a fantasy that follows a paraplegic marine, Jake Sully, who embarks on a mission to a moon called Pandora in exchange for spinal surgery. It's here that he becomes mesmerized by the new world and essentially torn between the two settings. He now must decide if he's going to accomplish his original mission of mining for rare materials in the land or end up protecting Pandora after forming new relationships with the aliens, even falling in love with one of them. Two brothers, scientists Scott and Tony Nelson, develop an amplifier which enables a person to enter a 4th dimensional state, allowing him to pass through any object. Scott experiments on himself and discovers that each time he passes through something he ages rapidly. He begins killing people, sucking out their life energies and regaining his youth as a result. It falls to Tony and Scott's girlfriend, Linda, to try to put a stop to his murderous rampage.
