Doesn't require plugging into an outlet so you can put it anywhere! Remember to install one by all bedrooms - so that means you need two if you've got bedrooms on the main floor and second floor.

I have not installed this yet because the only mounting option is to screw into the wall which I don't want to do to my walls. My previous unit can just be plugged into a AC outlet which was very handy. I am disappointed at this poor mounting option.
