Flanders - 16 in. W X 20 in. H X 5 in. D Synthetic 8 MERV Pleated Air Filter 1 pk

Designed for higher-capacity residential or light commercial systems, this 16 x 20 x 4-1/2 inch Flanders synthetic pleated filter provides MERV 8 performance to improve air cleanliness while maintaining strong airflow. Its extended-surface pleated media offers more filtration area than standard 1-inch filters, helping capture dust, lint, pollen, mold spores, and other common airborne particles over a longer service interval.

This disposable deep pleated air filter cartridge is specially designed to work in a Honeywell whole-house air cleaner. The filtering medium is made with synthetic mechanical filtering fibers. The medium is adhered to an expanded metal backing, deep pleated and encased in a moisture resistant Kraft board frame. It offers a MERV 8 level of performance.

Deep-pleated cartridges like this are built for whole-house air cleaners, giving you more media area and longer service life than a standard 1‑inch furnace filter. The 20x20x4.5 synthetic cartridge uses electrostatic polypropylene/polyethylene media with a MERV 8 rating to capture common household contaminants and some bacteria while keeping airflow resistance relatively low. Designed as a replacement for select Honeywell and Air Bear-style air cleaner housings.
