After owning a previous FoodSaver vacuum sealer, which finally quit after 10 yrs, I purchased a new model. The actual sealer mechanism is in an awkward spot. You have to hold the bag up toward the top of the sealer to engage the sealing heat element. Also, after cutting your bag, you have to re roll the bag roll in the back of the machine, so you don’t interfere with sealing your bag. The design is not user friendly.

seals good,a little loud,dont always detect a new bag to vacumm unless i turn off the unit and back on

Works great!! Took me a second to figure out how to use it cause i dont read directions. Vacuum sealed all the meat for a 105 lb dear in just under 4 hours
