About this product

Macro extension tubes are a wonderful alternative to expensive macro lenses. By placing distance between your camera body and lens, focusing distance is shortened and the effect of magnifying your subject is created. Macro extension tubes are an affordable and simple way to turn any existing lens into a macro lens.

Features

  • Maintains the AF/AE functions of the lens

Fotodiox Pro Auto Macro Extension Tube for Canon RF Mount Mirrorless Cameras are automatic tubes that communicate all electronic functions from the lens to camera, including auto-focus and auto-exposure. Because no optical components are added into this extension tube, the image preserves the original optical properties of the lens.

  • Can combine multiple tubes for various macro ratios

Extension tubes work best with short to medium focal lengths, they are less effective with telephoto lenses. Extra magnification also magnifies camera shake as well as the subject, tripod use is recommended. Each ring brings you closer to the subject as you increase the distance between lens and camera. Be sure to use the smallest aperture on your lens to give you adequate depth-of-field for better quality images.

  • All Metal Construction, Smooth Surface f/ Effortless Mount

Fotodiox macro extension tubes are made of premium grade aluminum. This is an affordable and simple way to turn your existing lenses into an inexpensive macro lens. It will take some experimentation with various lens lengths to come to a agreeable magnification and focusing range for your setup.

  • Premium Grade Fotodiox Adapter; Precision Craftsmanship

Fotodiox adapters feature all-metal, no plastic construction to create a secure connection between your glass and camera that will not degrade over time, keeping the lens-camera connection secure with every use.

  • Limited 2-Year Manufacturer Warranty

All Fotodiox products carry a 2-Year/24-Month Limited Warranty from the date of purchase. Fotodiox warranty provides coverage for defects in product manufacturing only (while supplies last).
