A: When you purchase the tv or unit you will need a Apple ID. To get the free Apple TV . I purchased a Samsung tv and has to set up a Samsung account.first . So I was able to down load the app. But is it is on the tv menu. All you need to do is click on it . And it will start . Hope this helped

A: just manually type the address on the address bar, i don’t have to activate from that specific link as long as the code is good. you can activate it straight from apple tv app or even from applets website
