If cabinet storage is provided, risk can be reduced by installing a range hood that projects horizontally a minimum of 5" (12.7 cm) beyond the bottom of the cabinets. The measurements of the magnet for each burner are 8" for Right Front Element, 6" for Right Rear Element, 7" for Left Front Element Burner, 7" for Left Rear Element Burner and 8" for Center Element Burner.
