Disappointed

Unfortunately the machine does not clean my dishes well. I have to manually wash at least half of each load. Pic is an example of a bowl we put in after dinner when we started the machine immediately after.

Hi BECKYR, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your Frigidaire Gallery Dishwasher is not cleaning your dishes as expected. We understand how frustrating it can be to have to manually wash dishes after running a cycle.
To help improve cleaning performance, we recommend ensuring the dishwasher is loaded according to the recommended guidelines, allowing space between items for proper water circulation, and making sure the spray arms can rotate freely. It may also help to check that the spray arm openings are not blocked, use the recommended amount of detergent, and select a cycle and options that best match the soil level of the dishes. For best results, dishes should have large food particles removed before loading, but a full pre-wash is typically not necessary.
If you continue experiencing cleaning concerns with your dishwasher, please connect with us through live chat at Frigidaire.com or call us at 1-800-374-4432, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–8:00 PM ET. We'd be happy to assist you further. — Reed

Great dishwasher

This dishwasher is super quiet, much more quiet than the one it replaced (45db vs 52db, big difference). Our other one, also a Frigidaire, was starting to show signs of different types of failure issues, so rather than try to fix one thing only to find I'd have to fix another it was smarter to replace a 10 year old appliance with a new one. I installed it myself, which was easy. Other than being a lot quieter this one cleans much better and leaves no odor or residues on dishes. Overall, very pleased and impressed with this dishwasher.

The dishwasher is super quiet and easy to use. I like how it learns the cycle that is liked the most. An excellent buy for the money. Highly recommend.

Niiiice Dishwasher

This is a replacement of the same dishwasher I bought in 2019. The motherboard quit on the old one, but I liked the model so much, I just upgraded it. I'm so used to the blue light on the floor to indicate it's washing, and the white light (previously green) to indicate it's finished. This one has three levels of drying, which is new and I like; no wet plastic if you use the Boost. And it has a third tray for utensils, which I now like. This is a nice dishwasher.

Doesn’t clean or dry dishes
EngiNerd Posted
We bought this to replace a builder grade dishwasher that was leaking but wanted to keep the same branding that matched our other appliances. All the reviews were great at the time and it appeared to be a high quality machine. When we got it there were a few fiddly things we didn’t really need or felt added to the usefulness and was noisier than it should have been but could live with that. What we can’t live with is it not cleaning or drying the dishes. First off you will notice it does not dry. We pretty much prewash everything so it took a few more washes before we noticed it does not clean either. We checked everything was connected properly with no kinks or loose wiring, tried different cycles especially boost which takes forever and still doesn’t work, changed detergent and rinse aid, and even turned up the temp on our hot water heater - no fix. Sadly our cheaper plastic tub rusted tine leaking 10 year old dishwasher of the same brand got the dishes cleaner, dryer, and even quieter than this one. After reading the question posted for this machine I see it is not just a lemon but seems to be just a poorer design. Not sure what the positive reviews are about but I will have to replace this unit with something that will work, and forget the brand matching.

Hi Enginerd! Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re very sorry to hear that this dishwasher did not meet your expectations, especially after choosing it to match your existing appliances and based on prior reviews. We understand how disappointing it is when a new unit performs worse than an older one, particularly when it comes to cleaning, drying, and noise levels.
It’s clear you took extensive steps to troubleshoot, and we appreciate you outlining what you tried. While performance can vary based on installation, settings, and usage, this is certainly not the experience we want customers to have. We’d like the opportunity to review your specific unit and see whether there may be a solution or next steps we can offer. Please reach out to our customer support team via Live Chat at www.frigidaire.com or call us at 1-800-374-4432, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.–8 p.m. EST, and we’ll be happy to assist.

So far I'm extremely happy with my purchase. It's wonderfully quiet, it has much more usable space than my last washer and I like the floor light to indicate the finish cycle

We ordered this along with a refrigerator and stove. The refrigerator was delivered but they argued about moving the old one and charged the wife $50 cash to do so. The dishwasher was to be delivered and installed the same day but when they showed up they refused to install it even though we paid for them to do so, so we refused delivery. We still don't have that or the stove which Best Buy simply cancelled the order with no explanation whatsoever. I cannot in good faith recommend Best Buy for any appliance orders, you will get billed but you may or may not get what you paid for.

Hi Raymond, thank you for taking the time to share this, I'm really sorry to hear about the frustrating experience you and your wife went through. What you described is absolutely not how an appliance purchase and delivery should go, especially after you’ve already paid for delivery and installation.
We understand how upsetting it must have been to have the refrigerator delivery turn into an unexpected cash charge, followed by the dishwasher installation being refused and the stove order cancelled without any explanation. That’s a lot of inconvenience and confusion, and we truly empathize with your frustration.
While Frigidaire appliances are sold through retail partners like Best Buy, we take feedback like this seriously because it reflects on the overall experience our customers have with our products. Your concerns regarding delivery, installation, and order handling are valid, and we’re sorry this left you feeling unable to recommend the retailer.
We’d really like the opportunity to look into this further and help where we can. If you’re open to it, please reach out to us via Live Chat on our website or by calling our Customer Support team at 1-800-374-4432, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST. We’ll do our best to review the situation and provide guidance or next steps.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention, Raymond. We appreciate your honesty and hope we can assist in making this right. - Maico
