Gangs of London: Season One - BLU-RAY [3 Discs]

I enjoyed this show immensely. It has good character development, good pacing, acting and a fully realized script. The series can be very violent in a realistic way, and while some scenes of violence may seem gratuitous, it serves the plot/storyline considering this show is about the power struggle of international gangs that control London. The story grabs your attention from the very opening scene, and I was hooked; binged the series over two nights. Good setup for a second series. Be warned there are several different heavy accents and dialects, so some may wish it was subtitled in parts. I grew up in the U.K., so I understood most, but I don't think it will keep you from knowing what's going or keeping up with the plot.

I'm a huge fan of Gareth Evans, who did The Raid films and Apostle, and this series doesn't disappoint. Fast-paced, intricate story with action sequences like we have never seen on television before

Great series, well acted and very unusual, but interesting plot line! Looking forward to a second season, it will be interesting to see where this goes and how much more violent it will get?

Fantasic series from the director of the Raid. London gangsters, great fight scenes, combined with great drama.

Great Show very well put together. Blue Ray looks better than it did in broadcast. Pick this up you will love it.
