Good quality videos but the app sucks, trying to get the videos of photos or even connect to it is a mission (iPhone)

Hello there, this is the freshly bought Tandem, I found it's totally impossible neither to retrieve a live feed from the device nor to perform a system firmware update though the Drive app. App returns following error messages: 'Something came up. The application has cancelled the request to choose a device.' 'We weren't able to send the update to your device.' Never expected such an attitude from this manufacturer, once was reliable, specifically for this kind of money. Do not make haste to buy it.

180 FOV, extremely compact No display so you have to use your phone to get the video off. This is time consuming but the video is very good. Having to have parking cable to provide power while parked is a costly burden

Seems to record great video, great field of view on both Lens, covers complete interior in cab, and good range in the front. I believe there is more wiring that needs to be purchased for the recording if you’re car is tampered with while not in it. Instructions are vague and No details

This is my first dash cam so I don't have anything to compare it to but this dash cam works great on every level. The video quality for the main camera is great but the quality on the inward-facing camera could be better. The cable that came in the box was the perfect length to wrap around my car and be hidden. Setup was easy and the app that you use to retrieve video and pictures works really well, albeit a bit slow when loading or exporting the videos. The voice commands work relatively well whenever there isn't much road noise, but is a useful feature nonetheless. Over all, great dash camera so far. I will try to update this review as time goes on.

nice dash cam very small picture quality yet to be determined properly because outside night and day but interior very good at day and night pro : nice dash cam ,easy to install ,easy to set up ,like it because without touching camera u can change setting on your phone app also I like it other unnecessary future like Garmin w66 because most new car have already in build future . con: higher price but not provide parking mode cable if your car off and want to use app or review old footage not gone happen because app open properly when camera on if it is parking mode or car on , $300.00 cam and you have to still spend money on parking mode cable and main thing they don't provide proper intrusion how to format sd card how to set up came on different mode,

Bought for my son after he has hit by someone who ran a red light. He uses it every time he gets in the car and in fact had a video just yesterday of someone blowing thru a stop sign yesterday nearly missing hitting him. While apparently it will not lower his insurance premiums it is a little piece of mind to be able to prove he wasn't at fault. It gives a nice video of the road ahead, behind and even inside the cabin of your vehicle.

Love the simplicity and the size. Image quality is just OK. Wifi is completely unreliable. Not up to the normal Garmin standard.

Purchased this in February 2021. Had to return because it kept shutting off. Also, it would not respond to voice commands. I exchanged the unit and the new unit has stop responding to voice commands as well. Also, Garmin express app will not allow me to add this device. I have many Germin devices. This dash cam tandem is a major disappointment.

Would not connect to phone(s). Garmin customer service did not respond to call. Difficult to remove sd-mini. Had to puchase suction cup to mount in van. Video played off of sd card was clear. Did not download automatically. Will be returning.

This is a good dash cam! It records both the front and inside of the vehicle. One thing I noticed is that you can’t turn off the video for inside if you want privacy. I have not tried it yet but you can turn off the audio, as there is an option for on and off. It seems like my Garmin 45 Dash Cam play back clearer video than this. Aside from what I have mentioned, this is a good dash cam. Just a little expensive.

My brother loves the camara, I got for him as a christmas present. It works like a charm. With all its feature that it offers, Its makes it the perfect front & rear dash camara. I totally recommend it.

I've owned most of the Garmin series of dash cams. The interior recording function was what interested me about this one. It still has connection issues which can be fixed by resetting your mobile phone..but it gets really old if you constantly have to reset your phone to check the recording angle whenever you're going out to drive. After the latest software update it now fails to record audio and I noticed the time stamp on the recording is off by an hour. Going to give it one more run and hoping I just got a bad one.

I purchased this in May of 2023 and it is still working as it should. The only issue I have with this dashcam is its voltage limitation. Every time my car autostarts, the camera resets because of the voltage dipping.

I’ve only had the camera about a month and a half and used it only a few times since I’m mostly home due to the pandemic. Overall I’m satisfied with the purchase - functions as expected and it’s easy to install and use, and recording quality is clear. Side note: no need for pro install for me as I was able to hide the long power cable along the edge of the headliner, a-pillar, and down under the glove box without an issue.

Very good quality video. Easy to use and the app works well. Allows for voice commands for recording and pictures.

Easy to install for my Honda CRV-2017. Front camera has better quality than the back side.

This is the second camera. The first one would not work. While somewhat aggravating to me, the return was easy and the new one arrived in no time flat. It works as designed.

This is my first dash cam Looks good is small and I love the magnet attachment so u can you use it in two cars easily as you get two magnet stickers Quality is good , I can’t compare with others as I never had one but I can see thru it also inside cam is nice and clear good for Uber drivers I Am not a Uber driver but wanted to get something in case police stop me as well as it’s pretty wide angle so h actually can see all 5 windshields pretty clear Over all I am happy with it just little expensive
