My old refrigerator died and I needed a new one ASAP. Shopped online, reading reviews and price-checking. Best Buy's price and availability was the best!!!! I love this refrigerator - it's quiet and spacious, and you can check/adjust freezer and refrigerator temps on the front of the door. COOL!!!! Also - the ice and water dispenser doesn't splash ice and water all over the floor, the way some other brands seem to (according to customer reviews of other brands).

Had a hard time finding a replacement side by side fridge/freezer for our 29 yr. old one. This one fit the bill. I liked the larger adjustable shelves, 2 drawers for fruits/ vegetables + deli drawer. Very close to the space we had in our previous one. The only negatives were the light at top of fridge takes up a lot of space so we had to maneuver smaller items under it on top shelf. Also, the door trays which we thought were all equal, turned out that the bottom 2 are only 4 " deep, where top one is 7" deep so a lot fewer bottles/dressing/condiments fit.

This is essentially the original refrigerator that was in my house since 2003, with updates. It is exactly the same size and looks just right with the other GE Profile appliances around it. The icemaker is a new design and there are other adjustments in the shelves and doors that I think are improvements. I'm looking forward to many years of use. Certainly only time will really tell, but I am entirely satisfied with this purchase.

Didn't expect to find the great deal that I found at best buy, especially since I first went to Crestwood store and didn't find what I was looking for there, but had to give it one more try at the tinley park store and there it was

Tried to upgrade to Maytag French Door, didn't work out, the noise was too loud. Went back to a new GE side by side to replace my old one. Appreciated the quietness and functions more than before. There are few changes which were good comparing to my old one, mostly the same. Really like how little noise it generates, peace restored from my bad experience with Maytag French Door. It's not as beautiful as Maytag but it saves money and my sanity. Btw, I replaced my old one because the water dispenser stop working, fixed the heating element once couple of years ago, decided to get a new one instead of repairing it again.
