Great air conditioner, cools our large living area nicely. It was easy to set up. Nice that we can still see outside thru the window we put it at. I would highly recommend these air conditioners they are not only great GE backed up units but also much safer then regular air conditioners to have hung allowing you to just about close your window and it include a window lock stopper.

Ive had the AC for a month now. It has so far been very quiet compared to a previous window unit i had. It does however need vibration dampening foam underneath it. Which it comes with btw. It makes a lot of odd sounds because its an inverter unit running a variable soeed fan and compressor. However, still very quite. Particularly in "quite/silent" mode.

Units are heavy, they recommend two people for installation. It sits low only needed the window open about 5 inches. seals nice and snug with provide foam rubber sides. 10,300 btu is good for my 12x14 bedroom and bathroom. Smaller rooms could possibly down size.

I was pleasantly surprised by the U shaped design. I don't like a bulky AC unit sitting on the window. This design is perfect for a Window unit. It cools my office more than I deserve.

Only comment so far is that the labels on the remote and the unit can be difficult to read because of the lack of contrast. The unit is very quiet when in the quiet mode!

The mfg could have done better with the instructions! Other than that, it’s really nice. Nice and quiet

Recently moved into a home that doesn’t have central air, so I had to purchase an ac for the first time. I have ZERO complaints about this one. The downstairs is an open floor plan, roughly 750 sqft and it definitely cools the entire first floor! The thing is a workhorse! So convenient to control it via the app and I don’t find it loud at all when its on. Also love the fact that I can still see out of the window its in - such a cool design.

Installation was simple enough. The interior sound is fine. Noisy on the outside. Effective at supplemental cooling for our house. It collects quite a bit of water in the inside of the exterior portion. Seems like there should be some kind of build in drain for when humidity condenses.

This thing is super quiet and super nice, cools my house between the 2 of them and its about 1000 sq ft. Only reason I gave it a 4 is because one of the original ones I bought came broken. BestBuy did send a replacement, but was still super inconvenient. Other than that, these units are phenomenal so far. Had them going for roughly a month now!

The unit is easy to install, and fit window size. The unit cools the correct size room efficiently and is quiet.

This AC installation is very easy. Style is attractive. The design that hangs down under the window allows for a very clear view out of the window. Very quiet. I have purchased two more units because I was so pleased.

I have had this for about 3 weeks and use it to cool a bedroom, bathroom and hall area. It definitely cools the rooms quickly. Easy to use the manual touch top surface for settings. Very quiet for a window unit and l can sleep with it on. Getting it set up took a little longer because we had to extend the chase way to the 2nd hole. The screw holes didn't want to lineup very well, so that took some extra time. That was one of the reasons I put 4 stars. I leave temperature at 75 on Eco and medium fan and it seems to be very cost efficient to run.Over all so far I'm very happy with my purchase.

Love the format of this A/C and Its low profile look wont cover your view of the outside.Also have to say its pretty quiet..did its job keeping the livingroom cool..

5 stars is not enough. Super quiet as stated and cools very effectively.

[Employee of bestbuy] The unit I received looks like someone sat on it then kicked it a few times, that being said it keeps the room cool BUT auto option is basicly useless. It would also be great if it displayed the rooms temperature oppose ro me having to break out my smartphone and loading the app just to check.

This a/c unit was easy to install and is super quiet while running.

Absoultely a great air conditioner. Cools the entire bedroom ice cold and its great having use of the window as well.

I really like it. We tried cheaper (budget) options and they fell short in quality comparison. It's nice that it doesn't completely block the window like traditional units. It does a good job. It can be a little noisy at times, but we put some padding on it, which seems to help. We purchased a smaller size for our bedroom as well.
