Just not wowed
Replaced a 10 year old GE Profile that was still running ok but just not getting dishes 100% clean. Ive only had this Profile dishwasher for a week so the jury's still out but so far it's been ok. It cleans pretty good but even with the Power Dry it leaves a lot of water on the tops of cups and bowles (more than the old washer). Also the stainless steel is tough to keep looking clean but a problem with the old washer all my appliances. That's probably my only real complaints. Just not wowed. Definitely would have weighed my options with another brand (Samsung, LG, Bosch, etc.) if all my appliances weren't all GE Profile.

Sleek design.
I ordered this dishwasher after my original one was discontinued. I am very pleased with the sleek design and hidden controls. Well made with a stainless steel interior. Delivery was great!

Super Quiet....But...
I purchased this dishwasher about six months ago and I run it at least 5 times a week. The operation is incredibly quiet, which is the main reason I chose this dishwasher. Additionally, I like the bottle jets and the many wash jets throughout the dishwasher. I did a lot of research before choosing this dishwasher, but I wasn't able to see one in person before it was delivered. I wish I had. As it turns out, I was quite disappointed with the load configuration on this dishwasher. One of the reasons I run it so often is that it doesn't hold as much as my previous Kenmore Elite. The top rack has strangely configured tines which allow for two rows of very wide glasses (which I don't need), one very narrow row (kinda pointless since very little fits), a center row that sits higher than other rows, which means it's only useful for short glasses, and one normal row that fits my coffee mugs. I understand the center row sitting up (there is a water channel underneath to allow for jets for the top of the dishwasher) but the extra wide outside rows are just a waste of space. The bottom rack has tines set so far apart on one row that I'm unable to wash smaller plates and saucers, which limits the usefulness of that row. You buy a dishwasher for the ability to load and wash dishes. It's a bonus if the dishwasher is quiet and efficient. I wish I had been able to see this dishwasher in person before purchasing, because I feel like I got the bonus without the main performance points I need in a dishwasher. All that being said, I do love the quiet. I just wished the racks were better configured so that the dishwasher fit my dishes, cups and glasses. I would recommend this dishwasher with reservations. I would suggest looking at the rack configuration before purchasing to see if it will work for you.

I love My GE Dishwasher
This dishwasher has handled all I've thrown at it. I've really put it through its paces with dried on everything! It all comes out sparkling clean, and I especially love the jets under the silverware baskets. I would have given it 4.5 stars because I'm not thrilled with the drying feature. Using a rinse/drying aid is a must along with bumping up the water temp. Bottoms of glasses are wet as well as some plastic stuff, not all. I try to slant all the cups and glasses so that the water will drain off. Getting really dry dishes seems to be a problem with all new dishwashers because of the focus being on energy efficiency. All in all I would recommend this dishwasher if you want really clean dishes and silverware and if you don't mind blotting off a few glass and cup bottoms. I'd like to add that I researched dishwashers for 3 months. This is not the first one I chose. My first choice was a higher end brand name believing it would clean and dry better. Well it didn't even clean as well as my 12 year old GE that I was replacing. Since Best Buy gives you 15 days to see if you're satisfied with the product I decided to go back to the GE brand. This is an awesome policy and I can't recommend Best Buy highly enough! There was no problem asking them to replace my first one. All that being said, I'm super happy!

So so dishwasher
We looked at a number of dishwashers in the GE family before settling on this one. The dishwasher looks great and is whisper quiet and we sometimes can't tell if its even running. The main complaints are that it sometimes doesn't clean stuck on food and the drying cycle is hit or miss. We understood that newer dishwashers do NOT need to have dishes rinsed/washed before putting them in. Sometimes the dishes/utensils will come out completely dry and other times they will be wet and need to be dried by hand before putting them away. The BB installation team also did a horrible job of installing the unit and didn't bother to level or align the unit correctly in the counter space. This led to our counter being damaged and the dishwasher control panel coming off due to it hitting the side of the counter.
