Is it OK to use air fry liners if you want?
Answered by GE AnswersWe do not recommend the use of air fryer liners (or parchment paper) in this oven when using the Air Fry model. If you feel a liner is needed when using the Air Fry mode, we strongly recommend using the Baking Sheet, either replacing the basket or under the basket. The reason we recommend the Baking Sheet instead of liners or parchment for cooking very greasy foods is to prevent dripping on the bottom elements and preventing a safety issue. While using the Baking Sheet for Air Fry mode may reduce the airflow for a crispiness on each side, a half-way flip can help.
How much space in inches is required to accommodate the door swinging up (what is the clearance needed above the oven)?
Answered by GE AnswersThe maximum height with the door at the highest position is 15.5". That said, we recommend a minimum of 4" of air clearance on all sides and at the top of the unit when in operation. Do not operate this appliance while sitting under wall cabinets.
We needed oven cleaner for our June oven & we covered the heating elements with foil. Can we/do we need to do the same with this oven?

To clean the interior of this oven, you will need to wipe the walls of the oven cavity with a sponge or soft cloth and warm water. If the interior is severely stained or dirty, use a towel saturated with a diluted solution of a mild dishwashing liquid. For more details about cleaning this unit, please review the "Care and Cleaning" section on pg. 19-20 of the Owner's Manual. Please don't use aluminum foil or oven liners to line the oven bottom. Foil can trap heat or melt, resulting in damage to the product and a shock or fire hazard.
