Geeni are my favorite brand of smart device at the moment, (although that may change if they don’t honor their warranty on a plug I bought last year). If you’re an existing geeni user, adding a new device is pretty easy, and Alexa sees this bulb straight away. I have previously been using smart plugs for some of my lamps, but these bulbs work just as well, with the ability to dim too. One thing to be aware of with Geeni is that they’re not compatible with IFTTT, which could be a dealbreaker for someone looking to switch brands.

Installs easily (just be sure to first install the GENIE app before configuring ALEXA). Operates well. I do like being able to change the color somewhat as well as brightness from the GENIE app.

The review is for the app and for the 10 minutes I had this working. The app looks very nice and the light was quite bright. I didn't notice it doesn't support 220v, after 10 minutes the bulb start flickering and that was it.. :(

These were easy to connect to Wifi and set up in the app. They also connect with google home. Lights are bigger then traditional bulbs, and may not fit with some light fixtures

Geeni has become one of my favorite companies in the smart home arena their products are well made i havent experienced any issues i own quite a few different products from geeni smart plugs bulbs etc Geeni's products are very affordable conpaired to others on the market phillips etc not only that they are easy to use setup and require no hub like some others do interface is great low cost also

I am impressed for a bulb that is so inexpensive, not only is it dimmible but the warmth of the light can be adjusted. WooHoo!! Currently have it set up to Alexa which as usual was a snap to program. If i was aware of this bulb sooner I would have gotten one for every fixture in my house. Thank you.

Only had bulb for a year and a half. Bulb stopped connecting to the internet and would not blink to reconnect or light up by switch. Not very good for a bulb life of supposedly 20 years.

I think the hardware might have good potential, but is seriously crippled by a poorly designed app. The app is absolutely essential and is the only thing that can control these lights, and I am not kidding when I tell you that a middle school science project would be more functional than the Geeni app. The app would easily make it to my top 10 list of worst apps I have ever used. The app, when it works, gives you ONE mode for white light, and picking any color other than white dims the light so much that I can't see anything.
