Coming from a 3090 rtx the 5080rtx card does outperform gaming wise. This card is quiet and temps stay low. This review is about 2 weeks of owning this card. I would recommend upgrading your power supply that supports the 3.1atx cord instead of running the adapter that comes with the card.

[Employee of bestbuy] Stock this GPU runs anything I throw at it while being under 70c and quiet.

Super solid GPU, it runs fast easy to install and no RGB which is great! I think I got extremely lucky with this as there is virtually no coil whine unlike my 3080 WINDFORCE which had crazy coil whine.

Nice performing card with a low profile for sfx build, if you can get this card for msrp then it's worth the buy..

Was worried about it being a SFF card, but that literally means nothing with how well this card works. Same size as many other cards. Cooling is still top notch, 50 degrees under heavy load and OC. Would buy again and reccomend highly.

Absolutely fantastic graphics card. It stays very cool, it’s quiet, well built, overclocks like a beast, and such a wild performance jump from my 5070. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase

Finally upgraded from my 1080Ti. Very happy with my purchase. Not quite the same "value" as my old card was, but that is a thing of the past. Huge upgrade nonetheless.

great performance for a 304mm 2.5 slot card. It was a step up in 4k compared to my 4070 ti super.

It’s a wonderful upgrade from a gigabit 4060ti. It’s doesn’t show up well. So I put a nice rainbow rgb strip around it. Could be more please atm.

Upgraded from a TUF Gaming 4070 Ti OC Edition after I made the DDR5 jump (64GB 6000) with a TUF Gaming Z790 MoBo w/an i7-14700k. The 4070 Ti was quite the workhorse and handled things well, but I wasn't able to go full bore with the graphics settings on all my games, and even some titles a couple of years old would tell me I had insufficient VRAM to increase the detail level. Not the case anymore. Went straight to Cyberpunk and set it to the highest possible Ray Tracing settings available and it doesn't even studder in the slightest. Temps stay noticeably lower than my 4070 Ti running the same games on the same or higher settings, she fits in the tower nicely (I'm running a Cougar DarkBladerG full tower case so that part isn't surprising), and I upgraded my PSU to run the single cable instead of the adapter combo. I would recommend taking that extra step if you're able to as there are a few sub-$200 options on the market, but otherwise just make sure you run each feeder cable to the adapter individually and DO NOT DAISY CHAIN THEM. Solid 10/10 buy, especially at the $999 price (when I bought it) instead of the $1200-$1400 options I was seeing elsewhere.

I came from an Asus Prime 5070. I thought I might not like the quality of the Gigabyte, but I was wrong. The fans on this card are quiet as the Asus. They can spin up to 3000 rpm. Even at top speed, it doesn't sound like a hairdryer. They have a nice tone. Of course when gaming I have the at 1800 to 2000rpm I can barely here them. Gaming at 1440 the temps are 50c to 54c. Benchmarking I have seen it go up to 68c. Memory temps have never gone beyond 68c to 70c, during benchmarking, gaming they are 64c to 66c. It's a great MSRP card and smaller than most, so it can fit into a lot of cases. Power adjust up to 111%, core voltage adjustment, dual BIOS, good noise fans, quiet in my opinion, No excessive gel oozing out either. I checked it out and it looks just like any other card with pads.

switched over from xfx 7900 xtx due to severe instability issues that popped up recently. this card is much smaller, has better performance, better cooling, and is more efficient energy wise than my old card. performs better while using less power and making less heat, very satisfied.

Strong specs — It uses the Blackwell architecture, has 16 GB of GDDR7 memory, a 256‑bit memory bus, and high throughput (~960 GB/s) per the spec sheet. Compact size / SFF compatibility — As a “SFF” (small form factor) version, it’s more manageable in smaller cases. Reviewers say it “fits without problems” in compact builds. Cooling / thermals — Many users report very good cooling for the size: temps in gaming appear well under control, fans quiet under moderate load. Good value (in some cases) — If you find it close to MSRP and are upgrading from an older GPU, many say it’s a solid buy.
