A: The Nomad 5 will recharge the Flip 12 in roughly 3-4 hours if good sunlight conditions are present. Once the battery is fully charged, it will hold its charge for 3-6 months. We recommend using/recharging every 3-6 months to obtain the longest battery lifespan. When recharging a phone directly from the solar panel, the recharge time will be 3-10 hours depending on the size of the phone battery and sunlight conditions.
