A: Yes there are drawbacks- the verizon version has milineter wave- that fancier kind of 5g signal. Regular unlocked does not
A: Non-Verizon just means it does not have the mmWave radio found in the Verizon version. The phone should function just fine on LTE and regular 5G

A: Unlocked can work on all networks. Technically the Verizon and T-Mobile will work on all networks as well. But more than likely you are signing a contract if u go with those 2. Unlocked allows u to buy the phone outright and join a network with no strings attached.
