So far, so good! (Sorry, Galaxy)
While I haven't had the phone for very long (roughly 2 weeks now), it has been working well and I've been pretty pleased with it. I've used nothing but Samsung Galaxies for the last 10 years now, and the jump was done so quite anxious, if I'm being honest. But after so many terrible review on the battery life, storage, etc, I decided to research alternatives that felt more compatible for my personal needs. The storage on this thing is incredible, and it works like your average Android, so while you may miss the heavy customization of something like a Samsung phone, I'd say it's the closest thing to it. The screen resolution is phenomenal, and the camera is wonderful! Personal biggest gripe is that it doesn't have its own Gallery app, but instead uses Google Photos as both gallery and GF. Also, the notes app feels pretty bare bones, could definitely use some improvement. Overall, it runs pretty well, and it runs quickly, and I've been quite satisfied with it. Battery life depends on your usage, I would say, as sometimes it feels like it'll last a long time, and at other times it feels like I have to charge it maybe up to 2-3x per day. I do use my phone a lot, and even have games on it, so do take that with a grain of salt (also, Chrome typically uses up more battery/memory in my experience). Would most certainly recommend this bad boy, but as always, do your research first and make sure it fits your needs and budget accordingly. There is no SD card, but I believe it has the option for 2 SIM cards instead. Cases and protectors are a bit limited for the PP7, so do keep that in mind going forward as well. Biometrics work well most of the time, and facial recognition is okay at best in my experience. Overall, while I do miss my Galaxies, I've been more than happy with my Pixel Pro 7, enough to not feel too jarred even after having to adapt after so many years now. *Images include: comparison to Apple iPhone 11, comparison with Samsung Galaxy S10 (and S7), screen protector and case not wanting to get along, and an image of the back side (with Otterbox case).

Amazing Phone - no going back for me!
Switched from Samsung and I love this phone. I am still learning it but there are a few things right off that stand out for me. The camera is excellent, even in low light and motion - I took pictures flying in to Miami and where they would have been blurry on my Samsung, they were sharp here. The active pictures are nice too! Another huge thing is no bloatware - all those apps other companies force on you/your phone that you can not uninstall - gone! Battery - my brother told me about this before buying the phone but to see it happen was pretty cool. Day 1, it wore down a bit fast...but over the last few weeks it has adapted and now I often have half left at the end of the day or more. I was not happy about the inability to remove/change the memory/SD cards like on the old phone, but 512Gb has me well covered, so not a showstopper at all. There are so many things, the live transcription when I'm on a call, the google integration, pure android, etc etc, I think there's no turning back to some other flagship phone any time soon. Oh, the fingerprint thing - I was worried because so many folks complained about it - not an issue. Yes, sometimes you have to try 2 or 3 times if you have a screen protector but even with mine, it's good on the 1st try probably 98% of the time - similar to my old Samsung if you ask me. Great phone!

King has arrived... Meet the Pixel 7 pro.
I got pixel 7 pro 512gb and I can tell you that I love it. And definitely it is a big improvement for Google this year around so it was an easy switch for me from Apple to Android. I definitely love camera systems. It makes gorgeous pictures and I love design and screen quality battery life and overall feel of the system is very smooth and reliable. So it should be an easy choice for anyone looking for a flagship performance level smartphone that easily competes with iPhone 14 pro series.
