I've been using the Pixel Watch 5 (45mm) for a little over a week now, and I'm very happy with it. I'm not someone who spends alot of time on fitness stats or needs every possible smartwatch feature. I mainly want a watch that feels good to use, keeps me updated, tracks the basics, and just works. After using a few smartwatches over the years, this is the best experience I've had so far and it pairs perfectly with my Pixel phone. -Ease of Use- I went with the 45mm model because I wanted a bigger screen for my 30+ yr old eyes. It's large enough that I can easily read a text, check my notifications or glance at my steps without squinting. And it never felt like an encumbrance, in fact, I almost forget I have it on sometimes. Honestly, I don't use a smartwatch for anything complicated. Most of my use is checking texts, seeing who's calling, looking at the weather, setting reminders, controlling music, and occasionally asking Gemini something. And that's exactly why I like it, it doesn't feel like a chore to use. -Design & Comfort- The design is probably my favorite part. It's simple, clean and doesn't look overly flashy. The curved crown display gives it a really nice premium feel, one of Pixels standout features. I've been wearing it throughout the day and while sleeping, without any issues. There's enough room to breathe so it doesn't trap sweat like my Pixel watch 4 did. I went with the green colored strap because it felt more masculine and it's my favorite color. -Performance- This is where the Pixel Watch 5 really stands out. Everything feels super smooth and you won't be waiting for an app to open or wondering if a swipe registered. I instantly noticed the speed increase from the last model. Notifications come through quickly, scrolling is fast and swapping between apps feels natural. I primarily use the voice to text feature at work and it's always worked flawlessly. The speech recognition is much better too. -Health & Fitness- I'm definitely not a hardcore fitness person. Most of the time I'm just trying to stay active and keep an eye on my health. That's where Fitbit works for me. I like being able to check my daily activity without having to think about it too much. The automatic workout detection is also handy because I can see my activity even if I didn't "start" a workout. The sleep tracking has been useful too, it's nice to wake up and have a general idea of how well I slept. -Battery Life & Charging- Battery life has been a pleasant surprise. I keep the always-on display turned off because I'd rather get more battery life than have the screen constantly lit. With my average useage, I can get through multiple days before needing to think about charging it. And when I do need to charge it, its done in no time. I love the charging stand, I usually put the watch on it at night. And it doubles as a neat little clock. -Final Thoughts- So far my time with the Pixel Watch 5 has been a pleasure since it's become apart of my daily routine. It feels like the smartwatch I've been wanting. Something that looks good, works reliably, keeps me connected and makes a few everyday things easier. The Pixel Watch 5 does exactly that. For the average person who wants a smartwatch to complement their phone rather than replace it, I highly recommend the Pixel Watch 5.

This is my first Google Pixel Watch, and overall I've been extremely happy with it. Performance, functionality, comfort, screen quality, connectivity, really just about everything across the board has been excellent. I recently purchased a Google Pixel 10a for my work phone because I wanted to try a different phone platform. I've become increasingly frustrated with the platform I've been using for years, which is also the same ecosystem as my other smartwatch. So far, I've been incredibly impressed with what Google is doing with the Pixel brand, and that same level of attention to detail seems to have carried directly over to the Pixel Watch 4. This is actually my first smartwatch with a round face, and I wasn't sure how I would feel about it. Turns out, I really like it. It's extremely comfortable and doesn't feel bulky on my wrist at all. I also appreciate that Google includes two band sizes in the box. I went with the smaller one and it's been a perfect fit. The included silicone band feels high quality and is incredibly comfortable, although I'll probably eventually replace it with a Velcro-style band simply because I like being able to take my watches on and off quickly. Attaching the band to the watch was a little different than what I was accustomed to and took me a minute to figure out, but once I did, it felt much more intuitive than I had initially made it out to be. The display is fantastic. It's exceptionally sharp, bright, responsive to touch, and large enough that I haven't struggled to interact with anything on it. I haven't had any problems entering my passcode or even pressing tiny buttons on the calculator app that my son insisted we immediately download. One thing I've really enjoyed is the amount of customization available. There is already a great selection of watch faces included, but being able to download additional faces and apps through the Play Store makes the watch feel much more open. I suddenly feel like I have an almost endless supply of watch faces and ways to customize what the watch does. Connectivity with my Pixel phone has also been flawless. Calls, notifications, and everything else I've tried have worked exactly as expected. I haven't experienced any random disconnects or situations where I've had to fight with the watch to get something working. I've also taken it to the gym several times, and it has done a great job tracking my heart rate, exercise, calories, and other activity. I've slept in it every night as well. Sleep tracking was actually a little strange on the first night. It completely missed the first couple hours I was asleep and then informed me the next morning that I had gotten a terrible night's sleep. On paper, it thought I'd slept for about three and a half hours, so I can't really blame it for the conclusion. The second night was dramatically better. I wore my other smartwatch at the same time for comparison, and the two were within just a few minutes of each other for sleep tracking. One important difference is that I discovered I had a health-related software update waiting after that first night. Once I installed the update, sleep tracking seemed to work exactly as it should. Battery life has also been excellent in my experience so far. I've been wearing the watch extensively over the last three days and have only put it on the charger once, primarily because the health update required the watch to be charging before it would install. For the amount I've been using it, I've been very impressed with the battery performance. I've also managed to put it through quite a bit in a very short period of time. It's been to the gym, in the swimming pool, out to the hot tub several times, and worn overnight. So far, it hasn't missed a beat. Gemini integration is another feature I've enjoyed. You can configure the watch for features like raise-to-talk, and there are plenty of smaller customization options throughout the software. You can even change the wrist and crown orientation. I always flip mine so the crown faces toward my body because otherwise I somehow manage to hit it all day long when moving my wrist. For another perspective, I let my 11-year-old son wear it for a few hours one evening. This is the larger version of the watch, so I was curious whether he'd find it heavy, uncomfortable, or ridiculously oversized on his wrist. After a few hours, I asked what he thought. He said it was really comfortable and then asked if he could have it. That was the extent of the conversation. Still, it demonstrated just how comfortable and relatively lightweight the design is. If an 11-year-old can comfortably wear the larger version for several hours without complaining about its size or weight, I can't imagine many adults having an issue. Overall, I really don't have much to complain about with the Pixel Watch 4. It worked beautifully right out of the box, the software is intuitive, the display is excellent, it's incredibly comfortable, and the integration with my Pixel phone has been practically friction-free. In fact, that's probably my biggest takeaway. Between my Pixel phone, this watch, Nest devices, and the other Google services I already use, I'm starting to really enjoy the Google ecosystem.

The Google Pixel Watch 5 (45mm), Wi-Fi, with Satin Pyrite Case and Olive Band(2026), is an excellent smart watch, and a nice upgrade from the previous Pixel Watch 4. The satin Pyrite case is basically a satin silver/aluminum color, and the olive band is extremely comfortable. Even after wearing the watch for two days in a row without removing it, it still feels fine. The Pixel Watch 5 features an upgraded Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chip with about 12% better performance from previous Pixel Watch 4. The RAM has been bumped from 2GB to 3GB. The storage has been double from 32GB to 64GB. The display is the same as before with the same 3,000 nits of peak brightness, and is an excellent easy to read screen. The Pixel Watch 5 features an advanced GPS post processing system that uses Google Maps 3D building data to correct GPS tracking to get a more precise and accurate location in dense areas like cities. The Pixel Watch 5 also features offline Gemini, which is why I believe there are those upgrades on storage and ram and due to the additional software and AI features of offline Gemini. The battery life is incredible, and just as good as the previous Pixel 4 Watch. After several days of testing, I could easily get 40 plus hours on a single charge. A good example of this that I would have the watch fully charged at 9 AM, and the next day at 9 AM the watch would still show around 50% charge. Then the next day around 6am, the watch would still have at least 10% charge. This can vary with how you use the watch, but I usually go on a 40-50 minute walk everyday, and still play around with the watch using AI and hand gestures, and still get great battery life. Having both the Pixel Watch 5, and the previous Pixel watch 4, gestures feel more refined on the Pixel 5 watch. I have had more confidence using them because they work almost flawlessly. The issue I have is with the lift to speak to Gemini feature. When I lift, it shows that it's waiting for me to speak, and when I do it has been hit or miss for me, if it hears me. It may be something I'm doing wrong, possible not using the correct voice command. What I mainly use the Pixel Watch 5 for is the Google Health features. You can track workouts, heart rates, sleep sensing and steps. But to get the most of these features, a Pixel phone or an Android phone will be required with the Google Health app.

I really like the new Pixel Watch 5, and I am still learning all of the things it can do. Of course it is a timepiece, but it is also a true extension of an Android phone, especially of a Pixel phone. It can display messages, notifications, and upcoming calendar entries. I use it to answer messages with voice or an in-display keypad (actually works well!), or with an emoji, and I can even use it to answer telephone calls. Of course, the biggest reason to have such a smartwatch is to track physical performance. Here too the Pixel Watch shines, with accurate measurements of heart rate, steps, and stair climbing. It synchronizes with the Google Health app on the phone and will automatically detect my running and elliptical trainer workouts, then immediately show me how much time I spent in various levels of exercise. Seeing this information trending over time helps me to ensure I am getting the right amount of exercise. Sleep detection and tracking have been excellent as well. It is very convenient to use the watch for making payments at the store, without having to reach for a credit card. I have also used the watch as a shutter release for taking selfies with the phone camera located a distance away. The Pixel Watch 5 has other advantageous features: - A long-lasting battery that allows me to use all the watch functions I need, with having to charge only every other day (sometimes every third day) - Charges in under an hour on its own little charger cradle - Lovely design: I like the large, smooth display and the ability to customize the watch faces almost infinitely - This watch is designed for AI, and it lets me chat with Gemini about whatever I need help with. I just lift the watch to my mouth and ask a question! It would be nice to have all of the Google Health Assistant functions without having to pay a subscription, but I am doing without that for now. I can wholly recommend the Google Watch 5 for anyone who needs a full-featured smartwatch and activity tracker.

I bought the Pixel watch 5 to replace my Fitbit Versa 4. I wanted to stay with the Fitbit compatible device to continue with my many years of Fitbit data. I have been very please with the watch which I consider an appreciable step up from the Versa 4. I have been using about 2 weeks now. I use it to track my steps and health and sleep data. I like the selection of clock faces which are very easy to switch between. I have been able to get about 2 days worth of use between charging with the always on turned off. I am impressed by how rapidly the watch re-charges. I am all around very satisfied with the quality and functionality of the watch 5.

Love the battery life! Can't speak on durability because it will be in a case but with the screen being a glass dome I'm sure it would crack easily, love the look though! I did feel a little bit of lag here and there. Alot of pros and small amount of cons.

I have been using the Google Pixel Watch 5 (45 mm) Wi-Fi model with the Satin Pyrite case and Olive band for a few days, and it has been a great experience. The setup was easy because the watch guided me through each step, making the process simple and intuitive. I also appreciate the variety of watch faces in the app, which lets me personalize the display to my preferences. The 360 display is bright, clear, and easy to read at a glance. It provides excellent visibility in different lighting conditions, and the scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass adds important durability for everyday use. Gemini integration is another feature I find very useful. I can simply raise my wrist and speak to Gemini when I need information or assistance. The watch feels fast and responsive, making it easier to access features and complete everyday tasks. Battery life has also been impressive. The 45 mm model provides up to 40 hours of battery life, which is more than enough for a full day and beyond. When the battery is running low, the Quick Charge Dock can provide up to 15 additional hours of use in only 15 minutes. I also value the health, sleep, and fitness features provided through Google Health. The watch makes it easier to monitor important aspects of my daily wellness and stay more informed about my activity and overall routine. Overall, the Google Pixel Watch 5 combines an attractive design, strong battery performance, intelligent features, excellent visibility, and useful health tracking in one polished device. It has been reliable, easy to use, and highly functional. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a professional and capable smartwatch.
