I wanted lighting for my TV which expanded the screen colors as screens changed. I had tried something else, however, the colors didn’t allow for coordination with the screen changes, so I went with this back mounted and light bars. Attaching the strips to the back of the TV is awkward turning corners, however, the light transitions are pretty much spot on. I would add I have a newer model big screen, which is very thin, so the camera mount will fall over without additional bracing, if mounted at the top of the screen.

The is a phenomenal set up. I am so glad I bought this and I have to admit I think my living room is better than going to the movies now. I highly recommend these Govee lights to bring your living room to life. The only thing I can say that bothers me is I bought the wrong size and its a little too small for my TV. But other than that....

It does not do exactly as I thought it would but I still really love these lights. The color combos are infinite, you can make them react to sound, adjust the brightness, make the colors match whatever you're watching/playing, different modes for different activities/events, customization, ai customization (I put in a sunset on the beach and it matched the colors and the vibe), and probably more things I haven't discovered yet. 10/10 will get again for my other tv.

I have it on a 75inch tv. I had to make it work so it doesn’t fit in a like a flush easy way but I made it happen and the family is happy! The app is really cool and user friendly. My only complaint is that I wish the camera for the screen stuck on a little better and followed the colors on the TV more but other than that the lights are an awesome addition to watching tv!

I was originally looking at Philips Hue lights but for the same set up it was going to cost me $600! This Govee set, I got it on sale for $100. Wasn’t a fan of the camera feature at first which is why I was so hesitant to purchase it but when comparing to competition price, no brainer. It has changed my experience when watching tv now. Set up was super easy (65” SonyX90CH). Some users have said that there’s a delay with the colors, but I don’t notice it. After researching and messing around with my tv stand (heavy duty double sided tape). I was able to hide the camera where it’s unnoticeable. Worked out perfectly! Another reason I leaned toward Govee vs Philips is the fact that in order to get LEDS to match to the tv display colors, it only works for whatever is connected to hub via hdmi. I use my tv apps vs AppleTV/Firestick to watch shows/movies. Philips wouldn’t have worked for me unless I started using devices plugged into HDMI ports. The negative side to the Govee lights is if you have a lamp on or if there’s alot of sunlight is coming in nearby, colors won’t change (due to the light hitting camera). I usually turn the LEDS on when I’m watching tv at night. In the day time, I don’t use the LEDS. Overall for the price, I honestly can’t complain. I’ve had friends and family come over and are impressed. Can’t wait to get a set for my PC monitor next!

I actually thought these lights would be gimmicky upon purchasing, boy was I wrong. These lights are very accurate in replicating the colors on screen. After watching a youtube video on them, here are some things I recommend for the best possible experience. The lights are very bright and the default settings (via the Govee app) are set to dynamic and high saturation which I think is very overwhelming visually. That settings makes the lights super bright and changes at a very rapid pace. Change the mode to calm and set the saturation to 50% for a more enjoyable experience. At the default, the bars and the strip each change colors according to the tv's content. You can adjust it to whole color, meaning all the lights will change to the same color as oppose to multiple colors for each section of the tv. I found this to be easier on the eyes. Everyone will have their own preferences, make sure to play around with the app and select which one suites you best. I caught the lights on sale as Deal of the day but they're still worth the full price.

Definitely adds a new element and a theatrical feel to normal television now and I don’t think I’ll have my living room TV any other way in the future.

Can honestly say I’m 100% satisfied. Set up took like 45 minutes because I wanted to make sure everything lined up symmetrically when placing the led strip on the back of the tv, and getting the camera perfectly in the middle. For fitment my TV us 55” and it just fit perfectly without any led cables showing so it won’t work with any smaller. Connecting the device to my wifi and getting in sync with the Govee app was no issue either. After playing with the settings through the app I was surprised by how much customization they offer for settings. My favorite is the movie setting where the camera reads the color on the tv to determine the led colors. I will say the LED gets a lot of the colors right and transitions amazingly to different colors with this setting but sometimes doesn’t get all colors perfectly which I think is just expecting a lot so I don’t mind. Makes the experience with sports, animes, and movies so much nicer

Honestly, was skeptical about the price at first. However, after putting everything up, connecting with the app and exploring all the awesome color options and ways of viewing...I am hooked, have one in our room and the living room now. 10 out 0f 10

Absolutely amazing lights, they worked on my 75 inch wall mounted Samsung TV. The set-up was smooth and the quality is much better than any other brand of TV backlights I have purchased. The light bar adds a great touch as well.

Pros: Make your movies and games look so much better. Customize it to change colors on different parts of the screen and tons of settings for music too where the lights move with the beat. Works with Google home so you can turn it on and off whenever you want without using your phone. Cons: if you have a thin TV the camera can be tricky to place on top and keep leveled. I ended up using one of foam pads it comes with for my LG G1. The colors aren't the most accurate but we're buying this either because of price or because we don't want to sacrifice 120hz like you would with the other product out there. ***tip*** if you have tower speakers like I do you should try mounting the lights behind it if you don't have space on the entertainment center.

This changed the entire room my TV is in. Viewing is a whole experience, even the pre-set lighting modes are awesome and should be used more often for parties or gatherings. I am absolutely thrilled with this investment!

I feel that these lights perfectly fulfill their purpose, it is a low price option but excellent quality, it is also integrated with Alexa and your phone so it will be quite easy for you to control them. I really recommend this product 100%

I really like this setup. It’s subtle and the colors are diverse. I have to warn potential buyers about something though. I got the set that included the side lamps. They are very bice side lamps. The problem is that for them to work as designed they are supposed to stand level with the TV and no less than 20 inches away on each side. In other words it’s designed for having your TV sitting on a surface, such as a TV stand, and it has to a pretty wide one . My TV is 55”, which means a TV stand would have to be 95 inches wide in order for this set to work as designed. However… my TV is on a swivel wall mount, and the space where it hangs is between a door and a window that are only 70 inches apart.

LOVE LOVE LOVE GET IT ASAP. Only downside is we have a skinny TV so we had to tape the camera down so it wouldn’t fall off lol
