I am EXTREMELY HAPPY! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I purchase this chainsaw on sale out of desperation. A three grew behind the garage and it started bending the gutter. My garge has this huge mountain behing. Two years ago, I had already had a huge three cut down also on the side of the garage, where they had access and I was charged $800. I was not looking into quotes and the $$$$$. Although this one three is not as big, I encourage myself to do it. This is how I ended up with this powerful but very easy and manageable tool. I looked up the videos from the company to properly set it un and learn how to use it, because I never had used a chainsaw before. And to my surprise my concerns went away very quickly. I am a 52 years young female to put in perspective. Oh, I also got a FREE additional bettery. WOW extras! LOVE it. The battery that came with the chain saw is bigger and it did charge within 60 minutes. The only additional thing you need to purchase is the bar and chain oil, because it is not included… that would have been nice. If you are tring to decide .. don’t think about it twice, specially if you have lots of growing trees in your property and dont want to keep paying others. I paid $279 plus tax and the job I did today already paid off compare to hiering someone. Lastly, I felt very safe using this tool, I was intimidated prior purchase, but out of desperation as mention I went for it. BEST decision I made.

This was my first Greenworks purchase. This is probably the highest quality electric chainsaw I have ever used. I have several chainsaws from a large competing brand and the Greenworks outperforms all of them. I use this chainsaw several times a year to clean up the trees on my property and cut up logs for bonfires and this thing has just been great. The battery lasts a long time as well much longer than a standard 18 V from the competitors. I may probably 60 cut and I could probably do the 240 advertised or more. I actually ended up buying the leaf blower as well.

I have never had a chainsaw that doesn't take 50% of my energy simply pulling the cord to get it started and then keeping it started. This is way easier for the work I have to do, which entails a lot of cutting, applying poison to smaller tree stumps, and cutting then loading limbs. Lots of stop and go. The only downside is that the battery is heavy. I would rather have two lighter batteries than one heavy battery. Overall, this chainsaw is worth more to me than the HIGHLY recommended brand that I was told to buy but after two years and a trip to the custom workshop still set by the wayside not working while this newly purchased one got the job one.

Love the simplicity of starting chainsaw without any cord pulling, just pop in the battery pull the trigger & chainsaw cuts like butter. Its a bit heavy for constantly cutting but it cuts fast.

Best Buy beat xmas prices. 266.00 came with extra 2.0 battery. We are over 60, no pull starting, no mixing. No more cutting than i am doing, 1/4 cord, 2.0 makes job lighter. Has 4.0 battery, thus twice the work. I use the 4.0 for downed trees, and 2.0 battery for the other curs. I have a Rancher 450 18 in bar. It can wear you out. The wife uses the 80v on small 4 in with no problem. Less than a month old, charging is fast. You cant over charge either.

Works as good as my gas powered chainsaw. This battery operated saw is very convenient as I use a chain saw once in a while and I no longer have to buy 2 stroke gas, try to start the saw after a few months, etc., now I just stick in the battery and go.

Cuts great, just as good as any other gas powered chain saw I’ve owned. I don’t own a landscaping company any more so I don’t need a saw as frequently this one being electric is convenient because I just have to make sure the battery is charged and only have to store bar oil.

This thing is amazing, great power, light weight and just does a fantastic job. Can fall bigger trees up to 12 inches easily. Would definitely recommend for anyone needing some serious cutting power.

I have many Greenworks power tools and they all work very well and have been very reliable. I would expect no less from this chainsaw. I was able to get this for 139.99 and that is a great deal for a tool and 4ah battery and charger. This chainsaw cuts well and is easy to use.

The only thing I did not like was it was supposed to come with an extra bar and chain, but it was out of stock and no way to select it for back order.

Very powerful, very sturdy and very reliable. The only issue is the occasional chain. Oil leak that is not extreme, but can get annoying

I have the 18" of this also. I love greenworks chainsaws. Keep your chain tight.

It worked how expected. The only odd thing was, I bought it brand new, which would then require me to put It together. However the one I got was fully assembled… so I’m not sure what happened.. maybe I got a floor model

The saw and battery combination was a very good buy. It functions as good, as my 039 gasoline chain saw, maybe even better and very much quicker.

Great product but the chain only lasted about 5-6 cuts. Became very dule.
