Gregson-Williams, Harry / Buckley,David - The Town (Original Soundtrack) - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Six feather-light divertimenti by Joseph Haydn are presented by flutist Anna Zhitnukhina on her new GENUIN album. The works are miniature gems that deserve to be distributed more widely! Moreover, it is remarkable that the young flutist has recorded all six trios twice, one time on historical, one time on modern instruments, respectively. What becomes audibly apparent here is just how strongly the interpretation of each piece of music depends on the way it is approached as well as on the choice of instrumentation. Both versions offer clarity, elegance, and expression, yet all listeners will opt for the one or the other version according to their taste - a fascinating experiment! Album Tracks 1. Historic Instruments 2. Divertimento in D, Hob. IV 6 3. Divertimento in G, Hob. IV 7 4. Divertimento in C, Hob. IV 8 5. Divertimento in G, Hob. IV 9 6. Divertimento in a, Hob. IV 10 7. Nocona, TX native singer/songwriter Tanner Fenoglio is entering a new chapter in his life. One that has been in the making from the time he first picked up that sunburst ibanez acoustic guitar in high school. He has spent the last year in and out of the studio in Fort Worth, TX working with a group of uber talented musicians and producers to bring his songs to life. When asked about his upcoming EP and the long hours that he has put into making this dream a reality he simply says, InchIt's time.Inch Tanner is center stage in his life with the inception, culmination, and of This Town, his first CD that promises to touch souls and inspire people to open their hearts to their own past of trials and struggles, as well as fun times and fond remembrances. He describes his songwriting as Inchdown to earth,Inch and Inchtrue to myself and my life experiences.Inch Growing up in a small town and being influenced by those moments in life that seem insignificant at the time, all helped Tanner forge those feelings into tunes such as InchCheap Gasoline,Inch InchTwo Light Town,Inch and the title track, InchThis Town.Inch InchI have always been a sucker for writing love songs, so I have always been able to pull from past experiences to influence those types of songs. A simple love song can have such an impact on someone that is going through a tough time or a break up. My first single is a love song called InchThis Ain't the Movies.Inch It is about a guy who wishes his break up was a movie so he could have another shot at it but the reality is there is not alternate ending.Inch Album Tracks 1. This Town 2. Over Him 3. Cheap Gasoline 4. This Ain't the Movies 5. Lost in You 6. 747 7. Two Light Town
